IMPORTANT NOTICE ABOUT SINGLE WINDOW COUNSELLING FOR 2012 ADMISSIONS
For the convenience of the candidates and their parents, the COUNSELLING FOR ADMISSION will be held simultaneously at the following cities from 1st JUNE 2012 : 1. Chennai 2. Delhi 3. Hyderabad 4. Kanpur 5. Kolkata 6. Kota and 7. Patna In order to enable the University Admission Office to send call letters according to your choice of the Counselling Centre, please shade against the Counselling Centre where you would like to appear for counseling for admission in column no.6 of PART-1 of the OMR ANSWER SHEET without fail and also enter the same in the attendance sheet before signing.

INSTRUCTIONS TO CANDIDATES
1. Candidate should check the Hall Ticket and in case of any discrepancy, should immediately contact the Controller of Examinations at 044 – 26840371 Vel Tech Dr. RR & Dr. SR Technical University, Avadi - Vel Tech Road, Chennai - 600062, for necessary action.

2. Candidate is PROVISIONALLY permitted to this written test. The Permission to appear for the Vel Tech Dr. RR & Dr. SR Technical University, is only an enabling provision. The decision on the eligibility of the candidate for admission to a course entirely rests with the admitting authority offering the programme.

3. No candidate shall be allowed to enter the examination hall 30 minutes after the commencement of the examination and shall not be permitted to leave the examination hall 30 minutes before the completion of examination.

4. Candidate should bring along two good quality Black ball point pens for the examination.

5. Use of calculators, log tables, communication devices like cellular phone, pager, etc. shall not be allowed in the examination hall.

6. OMR Answer Sheet should be carefully filled up as per instructions given in that sheet. Replacement of Answer sheet will not be allowed.

7. Candidate shall retain this Hall Ticket and produce it at the time of admission.

8. A Candidate without a valid Hall Ticket shall not be allowed to enter the examination hall.

9. The Candidate shall Return the OMR Answer Sheet and Question Book at the end of the examination.
