Recruitment for the Post of erstwhile Group ‘D’ PB-1 Grade Pay ` 1800/-

1. Railway Recruitment Cell, North Central Railway, Allahabad will conduct written examination for recruitment for the post of erstwhile group ‘D’ on following Six Scheduled/Prescribed dates at Allahabad in accordance to Alphabetical sequence as shown below :

2.Tentative Time of exam : From 9.30 Hrs (1st Seating) & 14.30 Hrs (2nd Seating)

3.Duration of written examination shall be 2 hours in normal and 2.40 Hrs. for blind(VH) candidates.

4. List of eligible candidates of written examination as well as for further updates logon to www.ncr.indianrailways.gov.in

5.Call letters to eligible candidates are being dispatched indicating venue and time etc. through Business Post only. RRC will not be responsible for non receipt of call letters, postal delay or wrong delivery.

6.Ineligible candidates are informed separately alongwith reasons for rejection of their application. The same can also be seen from the website mentioned above.

7.Question paper shall consist of 150 multiple choice objective questions.

8.1/3 of the allotted marks will be deducted for every wrong answer/multiple answer i.e. one mark shall be deducted for three wrong answers.

9.DUPLICATE call letters would be issued in the following circumstances.
a) If a candidate find his application status as eligible after checking on the website, but does not receive call before 4 days of scheduled/prescribed date of examination in accordance to alphabetical sequence.

b) If a candidate notices any discrepancy in Call Letter regarding Photograph or signature etc.

Such candidate may in person seek duplicate call letter prior to in any four working days of scheduled date of examination in accordance to alphabetical sequence or they can download from website mentioned above.

Time of issue of Duplicate Call Letter : 10.00 hrs. to 18.00 hrs.

Such candidate who desires duplicate/corrected call letters in the above circumstances must bring with him Original Certificate as proof of Educational Qualification, Caste and date of birth, Photograph as well as Photo identity Proof like Driving License, PAN Card, Voter’s Card, Passport.

Duplicate call letter can be downloaded from the website of Railway Recruitment Cell’s website i.e. www.ncr.indianrailways.gov.in 15 days prior to the schedule date of written examination
