The High Court of Gujarat, invites Online applications from the eligible candidates, for filling up, by Competitive Examination, in the cadre of Civil Judges.

Vacancies : 33 (Regular), 287(Ad hoc)

Pay-Scale : Rs.27,700-770- 33,090-930- 40,530-1080- 44,850 + allowances.

Online Application Date : From 1.00 p.m. on 01/05/2012.
Last date for submission of Online Application : 15/05/2012 till 23:59 hours.

Essential Qualifications :-
Candidate must possess a Degree in Law from a University recognized by law in India and must be practising as an Advocate in Courts of Civil and / or Criminal Jurisdiction.

Candidates who have passed the Degree in Law from the academic year 2009-2010 and onwards must have passed the ‘All India Bar Examination’, for being considered eligible as a Practising Advocate.

Age Limit :- A candidate must not have crossed the age of 35 years

Fees :-
1) Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Socially & Educationally Backward Classes or orthopedically Disabled Persons : Rs. 250/- plus Bank Charges
2) All other candidates : 500/- plus Bank Charges.

Mode of Payment:
The candidates making payment of fees shall remit the same in Current Bank Account No. 30725811785 with the State Bank of India

Date of payment: Use the Cash Voucher in the special format appended to this Advertisement, from 30/04/2012 to 15/05/2012

Documents to be sent:
At present, candidates are not required to send copies of any testimonials/ documents to the High Court. They should produce print out of the Online application along-with following original testimonials as well as one set of self attested Xerox copies thereof and recent passport size photograph, at the time of Viva voce to be conducted by the High Court :-

(i) Original Cash Voucher marked as ‘Office Copy’.
(ii) School Leaving Certificate or Birth Certificate issued under Birth & Death Registration Act.
(iii) Educational qualifications i.e. mark-sheet and certificates of SSCE, HSCE, Final Year of Graduation, Post Graduation, LL.B.(all years), Post Graduation in Law, etc. as may be applicable.
(iv) Sanad / Intimation letter (if in case, applied for Sanad) issued by the Bar Council of the State.
(v) Certificate of Practice issued by Bar Council of India.
