E.S.I. Corporation, a Statutory Body under Ministry of Labour, Government of India invites applications from retired Asstt. Engineers and above from Central /State PWD/PSU etc. for engagement to one post of Asstt. Engineer (Civil) on contractual basis for scrutiny of estimates and monitoring execution of various projects including repairing and Maintenance works of the ESIC Hospitals/Office Buildings etc. in the State of West Bengal.

The applicants have to fulfill criteria/ conditions for the engagement as follows :-

1. Qualification :
Degree/Diploma in civil Engineering from a recognized University/Institution. Only persons who were Asstt. Engineers or above at the time of retirement from Central/State/PWD Department/Public Sector undertaking needs to apply.

2. Age Limit : Maximum 64 years as on 31.5.2012.

3. Duration of engagement : Initially one year extendable up to 3 years based on performance or up to 65 years which is earlier.

4. Remuneration : Rs. 28,000/- P.M. for Asstt. Engineer (consolidated). No other perks/benefits such as HRA/CCA, Transport Allowance, Medical re-reimbursement etc. will be admissible and no other leave except one day leave for every month of completed service is admissible.

5. Selection procedure : Through personal interview (Date & Venue will be intimated in due course).

6.The Selected candidate will be engaged upon signing an agreement with ESIC.
