Job Description
Shall be responsible for all plant operations of Foundry.
To ensure a change in culture by introducing quality management systems, continuous improvement tools, monitoring performance, cost control systems and waste elimination programme.
To Design and develop procedures, systems to improve daily operations.
To work as a facilitator for reviews, meetings, introduce a structured approach for the same.
To Initiate action to improve product and service quality to match customer expectations.

To Focus on cost control systems and work elimination

To direct, manage and coordinate all activities associated with Manufacturing, Manufacturing Engineering, Maintenance, Materials Management, Quality.

Shall be responsible for efficient and economical manufacturing of company products in conformance with established goals and objectives.

Shall be directly accountable to lead the transition of the Operations organization to a level of performance identifiable with World Class organizations utilizing lean production and continual improvement techniques.

Shall be responsible for formulation and adherence to annual budgets for above departments.
Candidate should have Relevant Experience in Foundry Industry.

Desired Candidate Profile
The VP Operations position will be responsible for the day to day operations of the company. The position will monitor process flows, co-ordination and control factors, review status reports, and implement any quality and other initiatives. Other responsibilities will include future planning and determining requirements, and executing all decisions determined by the Board and Joint MD.

Candidate should manage all Plant Operations i.e. Production Planning & Engineering, Vendor Development, Customer Quality and New Product Development.
Candidate should have Relevant Experience in Foundry Industry.

A Group of Foundries with plants located at Ahmedabad in Gujarat, India producing high duty gray and ductile iron castings for high quality tractor housings, cylinders blocks, windmill castings & transmission components. Total foundry turnover is Rs. 120 crores
