SAIL, Bokaro Steel Plant invites applications from eligible candidates for the following posts the details of which are given below:

Designation /Grade : Operator –cum-Technician Trainee/ (S-3)

Qualification : Three years full time Diploma in Engineering from Government recognized institute in the following disciplines:
** Mechanical
** Electrical
** Metallurgy
** Civil

No. of Vacancies : 356 Mechanical-85 Electrical-115 Metallurgy-146 Civil-10

Age Limit (As on 01.03.2012) : Minimum-18 years Maximum-28 years

How to Apply :

1. Application fee : Crossed Demand Draft (in favour of SAIL – Bokaro Steel Plant payable at Bokaro Steel City ) of Rs 250/- (Non-refundable) for General /OBC candidates & Rs 50/- (Non-refundable) for SC/ST/PH / Local Displaced Persons & BSL Departmental candidates . Application fees in any other form shall not be acceptable. Local Displaced Person means those whose lands are acquired for setting up Bokaro Steel Plant.

2. Envelope should be clearly superscribed - Post applied for Operator-cum-Technician Trainee.

3. Enclosures :
a. Filled in application form in prescribed format duly signed with recent passport size photo affixed & two additional passport size photographs.
b. Crossed Demand Draft.
c. Caste Certificate for SC/ST/OBC- non-creamy layer candidates as given in Annexure I & II (as applicable).
d. Declaration for OBC candidates that they do not belong to persons/sections (Creamy Layer) in Annexure III.
e. Proof of Date of Birth (Matric Certificate).
f. Disability certificate for PH candidates (Format at Annexure – IV).
g. Employment Exchange Registration Card.
h. Pass certificate & Mark sheet (all years) for Educational & Professional Qualifications.
i. Experience certificate showing relevant experience. All certificates to be submitted as enclosures with application form, must be self attested.

4. Filled in single Application form along with application fee as applicable should reach
