Applications are invited for the below mentioned post to be filled on Regular/Deputation / Contract Basis.
National Institute of Technology, Goa (NITG), and an Institute of National importance under the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) is looking for suitable person for the following positions. Reservation shall be as per GOI.

Name of the Post : Registrar (Purely on Deputation /Contract basis)
Scale of Pay(Grade Pay, Band pay) : PB – 4- Scale –(Rs.37,400 – 67,000/-) with Grand Pay of Rs.10,000/-
Age limit : Preferably below 55 years
Essential :
1. Master’s degree in any discipline with at least 55% marks or its equivalent.
2. At least 15 years of experience as Lecturer/Assistant Professorof which eight years should be in Assistant Professor grade, with experience in Educational Administration. Or
3. 15 years of administrative experience out of which eight years as Deputy Registrar or an equivalent post. The minimum requirement of 55% marks shall not be insisted upon in the case of exiting incumbents who are already in the NIT system. Or
4. Comparable experience in research establishments, institutions of technical education, or in Government.

Name of the Post : Assistant Registrar
Scale of Pay (Grade Pay, Band pay) : PB – 3- Scale –(Rs.15,600 – 39,100/-) with Grand Pay of Rs.5,400/-
Age limit : Below 35 years
Essential :
i) First Class Masters’ Degree with CGPA of 6.5 in 10 point scale or at least 60% marks or its equivalent grade. First class Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent grade with CGPA of 6.5 or at least 60% marks.
Desirable :
Possessing qualification in area of Management/Engineering /Law. Will be given preference.
ii) Experience in handling computerized administration / Legal / Financial / Establishment matters.
iii) A Chartered or Cost account degree or Diploma is highly desirable.

Name of the Post : Assistant Librarian
Scale of Pay (Grade Pay, Band pay) : PB – 3- Scale –(Rs.15,600 – 39,100/-) with AGP of Rs.6,000/-
Age limit Below : 35 years
Essential :
i) Master’s Degree in Library Science / information Science / Documentation Science with superior knowledge of computerized library service.
ii) Qualifying in the national level test conducted for the purpose by the UGC or any other agency approved by the UCG.
iii) Ph.D. degree holders are exempted from requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NIT / SLET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Librarian.

Name of the Post : Executive Engineer
Scale of Pay (Grade Pay, Band pay) : PB – 3- Scale –(Rs.15,600 – 39,100/-) with AGP of Rs.6,000/-
Age limit : Not exceeding 40 years
Essential :
(i) First class degree or equivalent grade in Engineering (Electrical/Civil/Communication) from a recognized University / Institute.
(ii) 5 years experience in relevant field as Engineer/Asst.Engineer from CPWD/State PWD or similar organized services/ semi-govt./PSU/Statutory or Autonomous organization/Universities/ reputed institute or organizations under Central/State Government.

Name of the Post : Sports officer
Scale of Pay (Grade Pay, Band pay) : PB – 3- Scale –(Rs.15,600 – 39,100/-) with AGP of Rs.6,000/-
Age limit : Below 35 years
Essential :
i) First Class Master’s Degree in Physical Education or Master’ s Degree in Sports Science with at least 60% marks ( or equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) with a consistently good academic record. Record of having represented the University / College at the inter- University / Inter- Collegiate competitions or State and / or national championships. Qualifying in the national- level test conducted for the purpose by the UGC or any other agency approved by the UGC and passed the physical fitness test conducted in accordance with these regulations.

Name of the Post : Superintendent / Accountant
Scale of Pay (Grade Pay, Band pay) : PB – 2- Scale –(Rs.9,300 – 34,800/-) with Grand Pay of Rs.4,200/-
Age limit : Not exceeding 30 years
Essential :
i) First class Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce with Honours in Accountancy / Finance or equivalent in grade from a recognized University or Institute.
ii) Master’s Degree from a recognized University or Institute with excellent academic record.
iii) Knowledge of Computer applications Viz. Word processing, Spread Sheet and computer-based accounting software.

Essential :
First class Bachelor’s Degree in Science (MPC /First Class Diplom in Engineering (Electrical/Electronics/Computers)/ B.E, B.Tech (Electrical/Electronics/Computers) For Technical Assistant (Systems) he should have the knowledge of Web designing and System administration etc.,

Name of the Post : Nurse
Scale of Pay (Grade Pay, Band pay) : PB – 2- Scale –(Rs.9,300 – 34,800/-) with Grand Pay of Rs. 4,200 /-
Age limit : 35 years
Essential :
Should have 10+2 plus A Grade Nursing Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery or equivalent and should be registered as nurse/midwife or equivalent with any State Nursing Council/ Certificate with 3 years course from a recognized institute approved by the Government.

Name of the Post : Stenographer
Scale of Pay (Grade pay, Band Pay) : PB – 1- Scale – (Rs. 5,200 – 20,200 ) with Grade Pay of Rs. 2,400/-
Age limit : Below 27 years
Essential :
Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline; Minimum speed in short hand 80 w.p.m in Stenography & minimum typing speed of 35 w.p.m. Proficiency in Computer word Processing and Spread sheet with advanced skills is essential.

Name of the Post : Junior Assistant
Scale of Pay (Grade Pay, Band Pay) : PB – 1- Scale –(Rs.5,200 – 20,200/-) with Grand Pay of Rs.2,000/-
Age limit : Below 27 years
Essential : Bachelors Degree in any discipline with a minimum Typing speed of 35 w.p.m and proficiency in Computer Word Processing and Spread Sheet.

Name of the Post : Technician
Scale of Pay (Grade Pay, Band pay) : PB – 1- Scale –(Rs.5,200 – 20,200/-) with Grand Pay of Rs.2,000/-
Age limit : Below 27 years
Educational qualification :
B.Sc Degree / Senior secondary (10+2) / ITI Course of minimum of 1 year duration / Metric with at least 60% marks and ITI Certificate of 2 year’s duration / Diploma in Engineering of 3 years’ duration.
