Applications are invited from dynamic, experienced and highly motivated Finance and Information Technology executives for appointment at Senior Executive Level for appointment as Executive Director/Senior Vice President with a probation period of one year. The appointment shall be on direct recruitment basis

Post : Finance & Accounting - Executive Director OR Senior Vice President

Post Qualification Experience :
At least 20 years including 3 years experience in senior management level in the pay scale of Rs.51300-73000/- or equivalent for Executive Director OR Rs.43200-63000/- or equivalent for Senior Vice President in respect of candidates from Public Sector OR equivalent senior positions in respect of candidates from private sector.
Pay scale : Selected candidates would be placed in the scale of Rs.62000-80000/- for Executive Director or Rs.51300-73000/- for Senior Vice President.

Post : Information Technology Executive Director OR Senior Vice President

Eligibility/ Educational Qualification : B.E/B.Tech/MCA/MBA or equivalent with specialisation in Information Technology
At least 20 years including 3 years experience in senior management level in the pay scale of Rs.51300-73000/- or equivalent for Executive Director OR Rs.43200-63000/- or equivalent for Senior Vice President in respect of candidates from Public Sector OR equivalent senior positions in respect of candidates from private sector.
Pay scale : Selected candidates would be placed in the scale of Rs.62000-80000/- for Executive Director or Rs.51300-73000/- for Senior Vice President.

Experience :
Finance and accounting :
The experience would include handling and/or supervising Accounting, Finance, MIS & Business Planning, Budgeting, Direct & Indirect Taxes, Treasury Management and Risk Management procedures, dealing with financial institutions and Banks, statutory and Government Audit, statutory and legal compliance. Preference will be given to candidates having experience of working under ERP Environment. Knowledge of Shipping/Transport Sector is desirable.
Information Technology :
The experience would include Designing, Implementation, Operation and Maintenance of Information and Communication systems including Business Applications and IT Infrastructure, in depth knowledge of IT System Development, System Integration, Information Security, Data Centre, Processes, Policy and experience in SAP Based systems and process implementation. A broad understanding of IT Trends & Technologies and Knowledge of Shipping/Transport sector is desirable.

Upper Age Limit :
The upper age limit is 55 years as on 15/03/2012.

Posting :
The posting will be at Mumbai. The selected candidates can be transferred to any location in India/ abroad.

Selection Process :
Names of shortlisted candidates shall be put on SCI’s website latest by 17/05/2012 and an e-mail shall also be sent to the shortlisted candidates. Shortlisted candidates would be called for personal interviews at Mumbai. Shortlisted candidates shall be reimbursed to and fro economy Airfare however candidates have to make their own arrangements for stay.
