Applications on plain paper with complete bio-data along with self-attested photocopies of candidate’s professional certificates are invited from Indian nationals for the post of Junior Research Fellow (on contract) to work in research project entitled “Sorghum Stover based Biorefinery for Fuels and Chemicals” (San.Dy.No. IFD/2157/11-12 dated 25/01/2012) funded by Ministry of New and Renewable Energy.

Mode of Selection :
Short listed applicants are requested to present themselves for the interview with updated CV and original mark sheets / certificates in support of their academic qualifications. The position is purely temporary and will be governed by the Administrative rules/service conditions of Research & Consultancy Cell, MNNIT.

Qualifications :
Post graduation degree (M.Tech/M.Sc or equivalent) in Biochemical Engineering/ Bioprocess Engineering/ Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Analytical chemistry/ with first class. NET/GATE is compulsory and research experience in the field of bioprocess engineering/ enzyme technology/downstream processing or in the relevant area.

Fellowship : Rs.16000+ 3200 (HRA) for two years and Rs.18000 +3800(HRA) in third year.

Age Limit : 28 years (age in all cases relaxable by five years for SC/ST, OBC, Women and Physically handicapped candidates)

Number of Post : 01 (one)

Project Duration :
Appointment will be made on contract basis for a period of one year initially, which may be extended depending on the performance evaluation on yearly basis till the end of project.
