Opportunity : L2, L3 SECURITY MANAGER / ARCHITECT
This is an opportunity to join this organization and play a pivotal role in the next generation solutions. In this role you will have the opportunity to work on cutting edge next generation technologies as part of the software engineering team in Bangalore focusing on Firewall and Identity enabled security and adjacent technologies. You will become a key part of the XXX identity security story and define the identity strategy with a dedicated team focusing on innovation, teamwork and customer success.
Responsibilities :
- Play the lead role in projects involved in the development of solutions for next generation identity and firewall/security services with emphasis on L2 and L3 security technologies.
- Architect, design and develop system software for the next generation products.
- Translating abstract concepts into solutions/features working with other technical leaders in the Business Unit.
- Collaboration with multiple XXX technology groups(Identity, Security, Video, Voice, Policy) and working cross functionally to deliver quality products.
- Develop system level requirement documents, and software rapidly with quality.
- Work with marketing, customers, and external parties in developing innovative solutions for the future in identity, firewall domain.

Required Skills/Experience :
- Strong working experience in networking technologies at Layer-2(IEEE802.3, Ethernet switching, 802.1q Vlan), Layer3 and above (IP, IPv6, TCP, HTTP, Application protocols and security concepts).
- Understanding and working experience of AAA protocols, RADIUS, DIAMETER, EAP various flavors.
- Exposure to Identity technologies, prior experience with 802.1x, Wireless, Firewall, Active directory is an added value.
- Experience in design and development of networking software features at platform independent layer with focus on control plane modules. Exposure to network processors, ASICs to deal with L2/L3 switching is an added value.
- Proficiency in developing algorithms for optimized performance and troubleshooting under Linux, VxWorks.
- Proficiecy in development on concurrent and distributed systems, asynchronous and message passing OS architectures.
- Excellent programming skills in C/C++.
- Must be a self starter, and hunger to venture to new areas.
- Strong technical leadership, vision, and excellent team player with very good written verbal, written skills. Must work cohesively with geographically spread teams to accomplish results.
- Requires MSEE/CS with minimum 10+ years of experience or BSEE/CS with 10+ years of experience of related experience.
