Job Description
Quality Assurance and Control -
1)Plan Inspection Activities based on Inputs provided by Head Office. It may involve communication with various internal departments & sub vendor.
2)Witness / Inspect items as per Project specific inspection & test plan at sub vendors premises in & around Mumbai.
3)Attend allocated Inspection calls In western region primarily Gujarat ,Daman and Goa.
4)Co-ordinate with Third party inspection agency / Customer representative as & when required.
5)Communicate result of Inspection & send records of inspection immediately after inspection visit â preferably on same day to Head office.
6)Follow ISO â Procedures, work instruction & prescribed record formats.
7)Ensure Inspection & test plan ,customer specification , drawing requirements are complied.
8)Handle non conformity as per ISO procedure and record non conformity and communicate. Ensure disposition action is implemented & final closure is done.
9)Provide Quality release based on satisfactory completion all inspection & test plan requirements.

Vendor Development -
1)Prepare Vendor development plan in consultation with HOD QAC & HOD Purchase which involves development goal & plan.
2)Visit new supplier for evaluating/conducting audits - on site facility, supplier capability, systems , quality systems etc.
3)Prepare audit reports & provide recommendation / actions
4)Co-ordinate with supplier for pending action if any
5)Guide supplier for aquatech quality requirements
6)Monitor new suppliers for Project Orders Execution


This Position requires-
1)Travel to various fabricators & Rubber liners in & around Mumbai â Ambernath, Rabale, Thane, Kandiwali on a regular basis & occasionally/need based to western region and Pune or any where else as required.
2)Perform inspection of pressure vessels, tanks, piping fabrication & welding extensively.
3)Valid Certification at all times for Non Destructive Testing on RT Level II and PT Level II, Welding Inspector, Quality System Auditor.
4)Should be computer literate to carry out the job effectively.
5)Should be dependable, pro-active and should have integrity.

Desired Candidate Profile
Qualified in RT Level 11, PT Level 11, knowledge of ASME codes, experienced in pressure vessels and piping inspections
