NSC is a Schedule ‘B’ & Mini Ratna Category – I PSU which is in the business of producing and distributing high quality certified seeds all over India, invites applications from professionally qualified candidates for the below mentioned post on regular basis. The post is available at Head Office, New Delhi:-

Position : General Manager (Production) One (General) (Direct recruitment)

Qualification :
At least second class post graduate degree in botany or agriculture with specialization in Plant Breeding Genetics, Agronomy or Horticulture.

Experience :
At least 15 years in supervisory capacity in Agricultural Field out of which at least 10 years supervisory experience should be in the work relating to production of quality seeds.

Desirable :
(i) Ph.D. in Plant breeding or genetics or agronomy or plant pathology.
(ii)Administrative experience in management of agricultural farms / Seed Production.
(iii)Good working knowledge of agricultural programmes and agro climatic condition in different parts of the country.

Age : Not exceeding 50 years as on 01.01.2012

Pay Scale : Rs. 43200-66000 (IDA). Total emoluments at minimum of the basic pay would be Rs. 98,500/- p.m (approx.) in Delhi. CTC per annum around Rs 15 Lakh (Approx).
