Central University of Orissa invites application in the prescribed form from Indian nationals for filling up of the following position:

**Finance Officer
No. of post : : 01 Statutory Post (UR) on Tenure Basis for one Year four months.
Pay Band : Rs. 37400 – 67000 (Grade Pay Rs. 10,000/-)

Essential Qualifications :
i. Master’s Degree with at least 55% of the marks or its equivalent grade “B” in UGC seven point scale in any discipline from a recognized University / Institute.
ii. At least 15 years’ of experience as Assistant Professor in the AGP of Rs. 7000 and above or with 8 years’ of service in the AGP of Rs. 8000 and above including as Associate Professor along with experience in educational administration.
OR Comparable experience in research establishment and/or other institution of higher education.
OR 15 years of administrative experience, of which 8 years should be as Deputy Registrar (Finance) or equivalent.

Desirable Qualifications :
i. Well versed in the financial / accounting systems.
ii. Experience in computer systems finance/accounts related software handling for information processing and retrieval.
Iii. Good working knowledge of rules & regulations of Central Universities, R & D institutions relating to accounts/audit, service conditions and related financial matters.

Age : Not above 62 years.
