REQUIREMENTS OF JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOWS AND SENIOR RESEARCH FELLOWS IN THE IGNCA.

Eligibility for for JRF, SRF :
Educational Qualification :
Minimum eligibility for the posts of JRF/SRF is Post Graduation from a recognized university in the relevant field with minimum 55% marks. In case of SC/ST candidates the minimum eligibility is 50% marks in Post Graduation from a recognized university.
Age Limit :
30 years as on 1.1.2012. Age relaxation for SC/ST, OBC, Physically handicapped as per the government norms.

Eligibility for Consultant , Editor, Project Associate :
i) Candidates applying for the post of Consultant Editor must have completed M.A. from a University/ Institution recognized by the UGC in Cultural Anthropology/Performance Studies/Folklore/Art History/ Museology/Cultural History/Conservation English as well as possess 5-10 years experience of editing the texts of Cultural Studies. Age limit not more than 45 years as on 1.1.2012.
ii) The candidates applying for the post of Project Associate must have completed Ph.D, from a University/Institution recognized by the UGC in Museology along with research experience.
