Applications are invited from the citizens of India for filling up the following temporary position for the sponsored project undertaken in the Department of Metallurgical Engineering & Materials Science of this Institute. The position is temporary initially for a period of 1 Year and tenable only for the duration of the project. The requisite qualification & experience etc. are given below:

11DST073 : "Studies on titania paste, film characteristics and design and reliability of DSSC modules" (Department of Science & Technology)

Position & Salary :
Senior Research Fellow (1 Post )
Consolidated salary Rs.12000/- p.m.

Qualification :
M.Tech (Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Materials Science), M.Sc. Chemistry. Experience of over one year in several of the following areas is preferred - powder processing, slurry/paste preparation, sintering, polymeric sealants, doctor blading, screen printing etc.

Job Profile :
The project is focussed on design and development of due sensitized solar cell (DSSC) modules (6 inch x 6 inch) with 5 % efficiency and lifetime of one year. It requires the concerned project staff to work on titania paste preparation techniques, fabrication of large area cells, sealing materials, sealing techniques and long term reliability of DSSCs.

The appointment is for time bound project and the candidate is required to work mainly for the successful completion of the project. The selection committee may offer lower or higher designation and lower or higher salary depending upon the experience and performance of the candidate in the interview.

- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises.
- Conduct : focused patrols by foot and to protect people, property, and information within assigned area of responsibility. May perform random patrols to increase security awareness and presence in a work area.
- Assures that facilities and restricted areas are properly secured. Implements security and safety measures in accordance with policy, procedures and training.
- Uses various : manual and automated equipment, such as fire extinguishers, first aid supplies, data entry devices and motor vehicles.
- Provides access control, security and customer interface at fixed posts, to include lobby entry points, executive reception areas and event related assignments. Answers phone calls and documents messages and requests.
- Insures all contract guard force, posts are properly staffed.

3. Security Officer [Group 4 Security] in GRAND HYATT Mumbai of 730 of rooms’ property.
- Specially deployed for China House Lounge and Banquet function.
- Crime in the premises. Liaison with police and Govt. Officials.
- Fire Procedures and Fire Training.
- First Aid provision and equipment.
- July 2005 to March 2007 was working with G4S security Pvt Ltd in various hospitality industries (Oberoi Nariman point, Trident BKC, areas as security associate.
