A. Faculty of Economics (FE) : 4 Positions
Faculty of Economics started functioning in August 2010 with an MA (Development Economics) programme. Faculty of Economics already has eight teachers. Additional teachers would reinforce the existing Faculty. Existing and new faculty members of the Faculty would have the responsibility of running the M.A. (Development Economics) programme, developing new academic programmes as well as initiating a Ph.D. programme in the Faculty. Applicants should have expertise preferably in the following areas: Econometrics, Microeconomic Theory, International Trade and Development Economics.

B. Department of Computer Science, Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Sciences (FMCS) : 4 Positions
The Department of Computer Science started in August 2010 with a three-year MCA program. In July 2011, an M.Sc. program was initiated in this Department. Existing and new faculty members of the Department will have the responsibility of running the MCA and M.Sc. programs; and starting a Ph.D. program in Computer Science.Applicants should have expertise preferably in the following areas : General Computer Science, including algorithms, and compiler design; Intelligent Systems, including optimisation, probabilistic modelling, pattern recognition and machine learning, and information retrieval; Distributed Systems, including distributed databases, distributed operating systems, concurrent systems, embedded systems and mobile computing; Visual Computing, including computer vision, graphics, computer games, and animation.

C. Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Sciences (FMCS) : 8 Positions
Department of Mathematics, FMCS will start with a new M.Sc. (Applied Mathematics) Program from July 2012. Admission to Ph.D. programme is also visualized within a year. Recruited faculty members will have the immediate responsibility of running the M.Sc. Applied Mathematics programs and preparing for a Ph.D. program in these disciplines.

D. Faculty of Life Sciences and Biotechnology (FLSB) : 6 Positions
FLSB started its first academic programme by offering a two-year M.Sc. (Biotechnology) programme in July 2011. Fresh batch of M.Sc. Biotechnology will join the university in July 2012. Faculty members recruited for FLSB will be responsible for running the M.Sc programme and for developing a Ph.D. programme. Applicants may please note that the University has a M.Sc. training laboratory but the research facilities are being established and equipment is being procured. Fully functional laboratories may become available by the end of year 2012. The applicants for FLSB faculty positions should be highly motivated, with commitment and willingness to devote time and energy for establishing research facilities besides regular teaching. Applicants should have expertise preferably in the following areas: Cell Biology / Cell based techniques / Biochemical Engineering / Fermentation / Bioprocessing /Biophysics / Bioimaging / Cognition and Neurosciences / Systems Biology / Immunotherapy and Tumour Immunology / Agricultural Biotechnology.

E. Faculty of Legal Studies (FLS) : 6 Positions
FLS started its first academic programme with a two-year LLM programme in July 2011. A fresh batch of LLM students will join in July 2012. The selected faculty members will be responsible for running the LLM programme including creation and setting up of the necessary infrastructure and facilities for the purpose. Applicants should have expertise preferably in the following areas: International Law, International Economic Law, International Environmental Law, International Trade Law, International Space Law, International Air Law, International Maritime Law

F. Department of Sociology, Faculty of Social Sciences (DS-FSS) : 6 Positions
DS-FSS started its first academic programme with a two-year M.A. (Sociology) programme that started in July 2011. A fresh batch of MA Sociology students will join in July 2012. The selected faculty members will be responsible for running the MA Sociology programme and make preparations for a Ph.D. programme in the Department. Applicants should have expertise preferably in the following areas: Social statistics, Gender studies, Migration studies, Development studies, Urban space, Visual culture and performance studies.

G. Department of International Relations, Faculty of Social Sciences (DIR- FSS) : 6 Positions
DIR-FSS started its first academic programme with a two-year M.A. (International Relations) programme that started in July 2011. A fresh batch of MA International Relations students will join in July 2012. The selected faculty members will be responsible for running the MA International Relations programme and make preparations for a Ph.D. programme in the Department. Applicants should have expertise preferably in the following areas : Diplomacy; Strategic affairs, International history, Regionalism, Research methodology.
