Central Institute of Himalayan Culture Studies (CIHCS) invites applications from the Indian Citizens for the following Non-Teaching posts to be filled by direct recruitment :-

Post : Computer Instructor
No. of Posts : 01
Educational Qualifications : MCA or at least PGDCA from a recognized University / Institute approved by AICTE / Ministry of Information Technology, New Delhi.

Post : Physical Instructor
No. of Posts : 01
Educational Qualifications : Master of Physical Education with high 2nd Class.

Post : Librarian
No. of Posts : 01
Educational Qualifications :
i) A Master's Degree in Library Science/Information Science/Documentation Science or an equivalent professional Degree with at least 55% marks.
ii) Knowledge of computerization of Library.

Post : Assistant
No. of Posts : 02
Educational Qualifications : Bachelor's Degree in any stream, or Class XII passed in any stream or equivalent qualification from any Board with at least five years experience in the Lower Division Grades of clerical service in the offices of Central/State Government or institutes/Bodies funded by the Government.

Post : Translator

Educational Qualifications :Master's Degree from a University or Institute recognized by the UGC or similar body with Bhoti Language / Bauddha Darshan and English / Hindi /Sanskrit as optional/compulsory papers at undergraduate Level. Diploma / Proficiency in Translation shall be a desirable qualification.

Post : Accountant

Educational Qualifications : Bachelor's Degree in Commerce or Class XII passed from a recognized Board/University in commerce stream or equivalent qualification from any Board with at least five years experience in the Lower Division Grade of clerical service in the offices of Central/State Government or institutes/Bodies funded by the Government.

Post : Personal Assistant
No. of Posts : 01
Educational Qualifications : Graduate in any stream or Class XII passed from a recognized Board/University in any stream or equivalent qualification from any Board with Diploma in Shorthand/Office management and at least five years experience as a stenographer in the offices of Central/State Government or Institutes/Bodies funded by the Government.

Post : Hindi Typist
No. of Posts : 01
Educational Qualifications : Class XII passed with Hindi as one of the optional and having a certificate of word processing skill from an Institute.

Fees:
The application processing fee would be Rs. 200/- for General/OBC (Creamy Layer) candidates, Rs. 150/- for OBC candidates (Non-creamy layer) and Rs. 50/- for SC & ST candidates. Physically handicapped candidates are exempted from payment of application processing fee. The application processing fee is required to be submitted in the form of Demand Draft drawn in favour of Central Institute of Himalayan Culture Studies, Dahung payable at SBI, Tenga Valley Branch only.

Separate applications for each post should be submitted along with requisite documents with name of the post superscribed on the envelopes.

Incomplete application/ application not made in prescribed format/applications without processing fee/applications received after the due date are liable to be summarily rejected.
