The admit card and test centre details for the Design Aptitude Test MITID-DAT to be conducted on 1st April 2012, Sunday, Timing 10 :00 AM To 01:00 PM have been sent to all candidates fulfilling the requirements of minimum qualification on their email id's registered with us.

MITID-DAT will be conducted on 1st April 2012 between 10am to 1pm at all 7 seven centers mentioned below.
Students should carry drawing and coloring material (Pencil, Scissor & glue stick)
Students should carry any photo identity proof along with the admit card send by us.

Results of the MITID DAT (Design Aptitude Test) will be announced on the website on 15th April 2012

Admission is on the basis of MITID™’s method of selection, which extends beyond the students previous academic qualifications. The MITID™ Admission Committee systematically seeks evidence of the perception, attitude, aptitude, achievement and motivation essential for a challenging and satisfying design career. The objective of the tests and the interviews is to ascertain the above qualities.
Based on scores obtained from MITID-DAT™, shortlisted candidates will be called for second phase.
The list of shortlisted candidates for the Second Phase will be announced on MITID’s website on 15th April 2012.

No separate call letters will be sent to the shortlisted candidates. The second phase of the admission procedure will consist of studio tests followed by personal interviews at the institute’s campus in Pune. All those candidates called for the second phase are required to attend the studio tests and interview, which completes the process of selection.

Graduate Diploma Programme (GDP) : 30th April to 4th May 2012 (Tentative)
Post Graduate Diploma Programme (PGDP) : 5th & 6th May 2012 (Tentative)
BA Fashion (In Collaboration with UCA UK) : 17th & 18th May 2012 (Tentative)

The Admission Committee decides the procedures, grades and weightage every year. The norms for the selection are the sole prerogative of the Admission Committee and the decision of the Admission Committee and the Management in any of the matters concerning the admission process and selection will be final. Any direct or indirect attempt to influence the admission committee or its members, academic office bearers or management will lead to the automatic disqualification of the candidate(s).
