Applications are invited from eligible Indian Nationals for filling up the following permanent posts of various Divisions/Sections of this Institute on direct recruitment basis. D.A., H.R.A., Transport Allowance etc. as admissible to Central Govt. employees under the rules in force from time to time will be admissible. The details of the posts are as under:-
1. Building Maintenance (Civil) Section - Engineer ‘D’ (1) post -General
2. Building Maintenance (Elect.) Section - Engineer ‘D’ (1) post –General

Scale of pay :
Engineer ‘D’ : Pay Band (PB-3 ) Rs. 15600-39100 + Grade Pay Rs.6,600/-
Eligibility Conditions :
Essential Qualifications : Engineer ‘D’- 1st Class B.E./B. Tech. with 7 years’ post qualification experience or M.Tech.(after B.E.) with 5 years’ post qualification experience.

Desirable Qualification/Experience :
Building Maintenance (Civil) Section :
Engineer ‘D’ (1) post
Desirable qualification/experience :Out of essential experience of 7 years, at least 4 years’ experience in design, estimate & execution of large construction projects of both RCC / Steel structures comprising of office/laboratories/residential complexes, Roads, Public Health etc. Should have knowledge of engineering softwares, and conversant with project Planning

Building Maintenance (Electrical) Section :
Engineer ‘D’ (1) post
Desirable qualification/experience : The incumbent should have exposure to maintenance and erection of electrical distribution system in high and low tension systems. Experience in handling and maintaining diesel generating set and power delivery system from DG to load centres exposure in Industrial instrument/testing & in computer operation (viz.) experience in CAD, Excel, Windows, Linux etc.

Age Limit : Not more than 38 (thirty eight) years on January, 2012.
