CSIR-Central Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants (CSIR-CIMAP), a multidisciplinary multilocational research laboratory of Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) invites applications from enthusiastic, young and dynamic Indian Nationals having excellent academic record/proven scientific achievements and the ability to undertake R&D in an innovative way for the following posts of Scientists/ Sr. Scientists in the areas as given below:

Position No. 1 : Scientist / Senior Scientist (Agronomy / Soil Science) in Pay Band-3 Rs.15600-39100 (01 post Unreserved-UR)
Essential Qualification : Ph.D. submitted in the area of Agronomy / Soil Science for Scientist OR Ph.D. in the area of Agronomy / Soil Science with two years postdoctoral research experience in related area for Senior Scientist.
Desirable Qualification : Two years experience of working in agronomy / Soil Science, preferably of medicinal, aromatic or other industrial crop(s) as evident with research publications.
Job Requirement :To work in the area of Agronomy and Soil Science.
Likely place of work :CSIR-CIMAP Research Centre, Pantnagar/other Research Centres of CSIRCIMAP.
Age limit :Upto 32 years for Scientist / 37 years for Senior Scientist.

Position No. 2 : Scientist / Sr. Scientist (Plant Biochemistry/Plant Biotechnology) in Pay Band-3 Rs.15600-39100 (01 post Unreserved-UR)
Essential Qualification : Ph.D. submitted in the area of Plant Biochemistry/Plant Biotechnology for Scientist OR Ph.D. in the area of Plant Biochemistry/Plant Biotechnology with two years postdoctoral research experience in related area for Senior Scientist.
Desirable Qualification : Two years of postdoctoral research experience in the area of Plant Biochemistry/Plant Biotechnology as evident with publications in high impact journals and / or international patents. Specialization in protein purification, gene cloning, development and analysis of transgenics.
Job Requirement : To work in the area of Plant Biochemistry/Plant Biotechnology.
Likely place of work : CSIR-CIMAP, Lucknow
Age limit : Upto 32 years for Scientist / 37 years for Senior Scientist.

Position No. 3 : Scientist / Senior Scientist (Structural Chemistry) in Pay Band-3 Rs.15600-39100 (01 post Unreserved-UR)
Essential Qualification : Ph.D. submitted in the area of Crystallography for Scientist OR Ph.D in the area of Crystallography with minimum two years postdoctoral research experience in related area for Senior Scientist.
Desirable Qualification : Minimum two years postdoctoral experience in the area of Crystallography, preferably experience in peptide synthesis and structural studies and Bioinformatics as evident with publications in high impact journals and /or international patent(s)
Job Requirement : To work in the area of Bio-Crystallography of medicinal and aromatic plants.

Essential Qualification : M.Sc. in Agricultural Sciences with MBA (1st class) in Rural Management OR Ph.D. submitted in the area of Agricultural Sciences for Scientist position OR M.Sc. in Agricultural Sciences with MBA (1st class) in Rural Management with three years experience in relevant area OR Ph.D. in the area of Agricultural Sciences with two years research experience in Agriculture extension related activities for Senior Scientist.

Essential Qualification : Ph.D. submitted in the area of Agronomy for Scientist OR Ph.D. in the area of Agronomy with two years postdoctoral research experience in related area for Senior Scientist.

Essential Qualification : Ph.D. submitted in the area of Botany/Chemistry/Biochemistry for Scientist OR Ph.D. in the area of Botany/Chemistry/Biochemistry with two years postdoctoral research experience in related area for Senior Scientist.
Desirable Qualification : One year experience in editing and printing of scientific documents / research journals and popular journals, etc as evident with research publications and/or past/current job profile.
Job Requirement :To help in scientific publications/documentation of CSIR-CIMAP.
