The next examination for admission to the Rashtriya Indian Military College, Dehradun, Jan. 2013 term, will be held on 1st and 2nd June 2012 at selected centres in the country of which Chennai city will be one. The examination will consist of both written and Viva-voce tests. The written examination will consist of three papers viz. English, Mathematics and General Knowledge. The medium of Examination will be in English or Hindi for the subjects Mathematics and General Knowledge. The interview will be held to test the intelligence, personality etc. of the candidates. The interview shall be held on 05.10.2012 only for the candidates who qualify in the written examination and the time and venue for the interview will be intimated to them later. Minimum pass marks in each paper including interview will be 50%.

2. Application forms and copies of prospectus with set of old question papers for the above examination can be obtained from the Commandant, Rashtriya Indian Military College, Dehradun, Uttarkhand by sending D.D. for the Value of Rs.350/- drawn in favour of the Commandant, Rashtriya Indian Military College, Dehradun, payable at State Bank of India - Tel. Bhawan Branch, Dehradun (Code – 01576). The application form and prospectus will not be supplied to the candidates from the Office of the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission, Chennai. Locally printed / Xeroxed and without RIMC Hologram (Seal) forms will be rejected.

3. Those seeking admission to the College should not be less than 11 ½ years of age and should not have attained the age of 13 years as on 1st January - 2013 (They should have been born not earlier than 02nd January 2000 and not later than 1st July 2001). No relaxation of age limit will be allowed. The candidates should either be studying in Class VII or passed class VII, from any recognised School, at the time of admission in Rashtriya Indian Military College. (i.e. on 1st January 2013)

4. Filled in applications in the prescribed form in duplicate from the candidates (Boys only) whose parents or guardians RESIDE IN TAMIL NADU should reach the

This is DEVENDRA KUMAR. My son is kanish , just 12Years old, studying in class VII, THE AVENUE PUBLIC SCHOOL, he is keenly interested to join/study in RIMC. Would you tell me will he be able to get chance in the entrance exam 2012?
