Hiring of Energy Efficiency Experts
SIDBI is seeking to hire the services of (i) One Senior Energy Expert and (ii) One Energy Expert, on contract basis, to undertake several tasks related to developing the market for energy efficiency investments in selected MSME clusters in India. Necessary details on this assignment are provided below.
Project Overview
SIDBI is implementing a World Bank - Global Environmental Facility (GEF) funded project on Energy Efficiency for the MSME in India. Details are given in Annexure A Job Profile
The expert(s) shall be attached on full time basis as Senior Energy Efficiency Expert / Energy Efficiency Expert with SIDBI Project Management Unit (PMU) for World-Bank GEF Project. The expected duration of the contract is till December 31, 2014. Further details of job profile for the positions are given in Annexure B.
Eligibility Essential :
Bachelor in Engineering / Technology with at least 5-10 years professional experience, including at least 3-6 years in the area of energy efficiency;
BEE Certified Energy Auditor / Manager
Work experience in the area of energy efficiency including Clean Development Mechanism, etc. with reputed large corporates, MNCs / consultancy firms, energy service companies, TCOs, etc
Working knowledge of computers is highly desirable. Exposure to applications such as MS Office, e-mail, etc. along with information handling skills and use of internet (for research, etc). Age as on March 31, 2012 : not exceeding 45 years.
Desirable
Master’s Degree in Environmental Engineering / Environmental Science / Energy Management from a recognized university or Institute.
Experience of working with on energy efficiency projects of national / international agencies which may include UN agencies.
Hands on experience of working with MSMEs (energy efficiency projects)
Experience in the financial sector.
