** Recognized Degree or Diploma in Architecture / Design, Fashion / Fine Art, Home Science in Textiles & Clothing. or
** Artisan’s child/ward with 5 years direct work experience in hereditary traditional craft, having cleared Senior Higher Secondary Board Examination. or
** Graduates in any discipline with an aptitude towards craft, fashion or design. or
** Students appearing in the qualifying examination in the year 2012 are also eligible.

c. Certificate Programme – Craft Integrated Fashion Merchandising
** Diploma from IICD/NIFT/NID. or
** B.Des/ BFA/ Graduation in Textile, Knitwear, Fashion, Home Science (Textile & Clothing), Interior Design. or
** Graduates in any discipline with an aptitude towards craft & fashion

d. Certificate Programme – Craft Management and Entrepreneurship
** Fresh Graduates having an intent towards entrepreneurship. or
** Sponsored candidates or equivalent from Government & NGO having relevant education and experience. or
** Candidates with Professional diploma in Design/Management with 1-2 years experience

Admission Guidelines for Foreign Nationals / NRI Category :
The Foreign Nationals / NRI candidate seeking admission to IICD must have required qualifications similar or equivalent to that required for Indian Candidates. The admission of Foreign Nationals / NRI candidates in various UG/PG programmes of IICD are based on certain guidelines : The candidates selected under this category would need to obtain a valid residential permit or student visa for the prescribed duration of the programme.
The medium of instruction in IICD is English and all aspirants applying to IICD are expected to possess working knowledge of English language.

The craft design professionals trained by the institute are expected to demonstrate an ability to work in a highly fragmented complex sector. Initiating and sustaining new concepts, processes, products, and building market linkages to support dignified livelihoods is the vision envisaged.
Reservation of Seats : 25% of seats are reserved for students who are domicile residents of Rajasthan.

The Application form for Admission 2012-13 sessions can be downloaded from IICD website : “www.iicd.ac.in”.

The cost of Prospectus cum application form is Rs.300/- (Rs. Three Hundred only).
Prospectus cum application form can also be obtained by hand from IICD, Jaipur on or before 10th May 2012.

Prospectus cum application form can be obtained by post on or before 10th May, 2012 from Admissions Office, IICD, Jaipur by sending a Demand Draft of Rs. 300/- (Rs. Three Hundred only) drawn on any nationalized bank in favour of ‘Indian Institute of Craft & Design’ payable at Jaipur and a self addressed envelope of 9” x 12” size with Rs. 40/- stamps affixed. The envelope should be marked with ‘IICD ADMISSIONS 2012’.

Submission of Application Form : :
For the academic year 2012–2013, the last date for receiving the completed application forms at IICD is May 10, 2012.

Fill up the application form. Enclose the attested mark sheet/ grade sheet/ certificates of 12th or final year college examination. Affix your passport size photograph in the space provided and attach the demand draft of requisite amount with the application form.

On the back of Demand Draft please write: your name & programme applied.
Candidates appearing for their qualifying examinations can also apply. Their admission will be provisional and subject to obtaining the defined eligibility by 30th October, 2012.

Admission Process Fee :
The Admission process fee for Indian Candidates is Rs.1,500/- (Rs. One Thousand Five Hundred only) and for NRI/ Foreign National Candidates is Rs. 3000/- (Rs. Three Thousand only). The fee is non refundable.

Admit Card :
