Role :
To conceptualize a world-class Manufacturing architecture, manage the setting up of a state-of-the-art new plant, involve in erection and commissioning of equipment, undertake trial production and ensure requisite industry and customer certifications. Subsequently head the Plant and Operation functions and ensure best-in-class operations comparable to any in the Aerospace sector. Should have handled a manufacturing Plant in a similar capacity in the previous assignment. Must have a knowledge of tools, jigs, fixtures and quality and inspection methods. Should have hands on experience with CNC machines, processes like honing, grinding, deep hole drilling and special processes like Surface and Heat treatment. An experience in designing plant layouts , manufacturing concepts and programme management is necessary. Exposure to Six Sigma and Lean methodologies along with their implementation is necessary.

Profile :
BE / M-Tech Mechanical / Production engineer from an IIT / NIT or a reputed engineering college with a minimum of 15 years' experience in Aerospace manufacturing / related industry involved in precision manufacturing.

2. Position : Production Engineering Head (Bangalore)

Role :
Has the responsibility of receiving technology from the overseas partner in terms of Know-how / Know-why , translation of processes (Manufacturing and Special processes) and ensuring adoption and improvement under local conditions for In-house manufacturing as well as by sub-contractors. This should eventually result in the Organization developing the capability to design processes for all new programmes / projects that we will be engaged in. Will also have a key role in identifying and selecting right machines / equipment , designing process layouts and developing Tools , Jigs and Fixtures. Must possess a good knowledge of Aerospace materials, manufacturing processes and special processes (surface & heat treatment) with a hands on experience of CNC machining (and programming), special machines including honing and grinding (Experience and exposure to aerospace actuators, related precision components and landing gear parts manufacturing will be an added advantage). An experience in defining and developing process flow charts, process sheets, time sheets is necessary. Must provide support to vendors / sub-contractors for processes and should be conversant with the AS9100 Quality system and NADCAP certification processes.

3 Position : Supply Chain / Sub-contract Head (Bangalore)

Role :
Has the critical role of developing and maintaining a supply chain of highly qualified and skilled sub-contractors for precision machining and special processes (surface and heat treatment) . Planning and managing procurement from overseas raw material and components suppliers to ensure minimum inventory. All other activities of supply chain management to ensure streamlined supplies at minimum total costs. Is responsible for the entire planning process for material, including procurement, inventory control, distribution and logistics. Is also responsible for vendor selection, assessment and development as well as planning and procurement of all Raw materials, Bought Out Components, sub-contracted items and processes. Will interface and coordinate with In-house manufacturing, Quality and Production engineering and external vendors / sub-contractors. Is also involved.in sample development, proving and First Article Inspection to ensure highest quality serial production parts. Should have good contacts and relationships with Aerospace vendors, Sub-Contractors and BOC suppliers. A Familiarity with SAP / other ERP system would be an advantage.

Profile :

A knowledge, exposure and experience of materials, manufacturing, heat treatment, surface treatment, etc. of aerospace precision manufactured components is necessary.
