The Indian Institute of Public Administration, an apex National Institute for the study of Governance, engaged in Research, Training and related activities. It works closely with the machinery of Government and provides vital policy inputs in emerging areas of governance.

Registrar - (One Post)

Pay Band of Rs. 37400-67000

Grade pay of Rs. 10,000 with other allowances etc. as per Rules of IIPA.

Qualification Conditions :
(a) A master’s degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade
(b) At least 15 years of experience as Assistant Professor in AGP of Rs. 7000 and above or with 8 years experience of service in AGP of Rs.8000/- and above including as Assistant Professor or Associate Professor with experience of Educational Administration
Or Comparable experience in Research establishments and other institutions of higher education/learning and research.
Or 15 yrs. Of administrative experience of which 8 years as Dy. Registrar or an equivalent post in government or in institutions of higher education/ learning and research.

Age : Preferably not over 50 years

Desirable Qualification
(a) A doctorate degree in one of Social sciences or published work of equal standard.
(b) A degree in Public Administration/Social Science/ IT/Management/Law.
(c) Working Knowledge of Hindi and English as also of Computers.
(d) Additional experience of finance and accounts in any government organisation will be an additional preferential qualification for supervisory work to be performed by the Registrar.
