PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
AUROBINDO PHARMA LTD, Unit IV – Hyderabad (Formulation division)
Aurobindo Pharma headquartered at Hyderabad, India manufactures both generic pharmaceuticals and API. Aurobindo Unit IV is a start up facility. It is among the largest injectible unit in India. It is having Vial /Ampoule / BFS / PFS lines.
Period : JUNE 2009 to Present (Working from project stage)
Designation : Executive (Microbiology)
MICROBIOLOGICAL TESTING :
- Sterility testing of of inprocess Samples and Finished Products using Open and Closed Steritest system.
- Water sampling and Microbiological analysis of water samples (Water for injection, Purified Water, Raw water).
- Routine monitoring of Sterile product manufacturing facilities and Microbiology laboratory facilities (Clean room and Controlled environments) by Microbiological techniques of Settle Plate method, Surface contact method, Volumetric air sampling and swab method
- Involved in Process simulation studies - Media Fill Trials (Sterile formulations).
- Isolation, Identification (Vitek 2 compact-BioMerieux), Preservation and Maintenance of environmental isolates.
- Sub culturing, Preservation, maintenance and purity check of reference cultures
- Maintenance of microbiological media and reagents and its preparation.
- Growth promotion tests of different media.
- Preparation of culture suspension (10 – 100 cfu / ml).
- Disinfectant efficacy test.
- Sanitation of Sterility & Microbiological area with different disinfectant at regular interval.
- Total Organic Carbon Analysis (TOC)
- Liquid Borne Particle Counting of finished product, rinse water samples, vial washing machine samples etc as per USP & Ph. Eur.
- Bioburden analysis of bulk sample, Primary packaging material including validation of bulk sample.
- Bioburden and Particulate matter analysis of Compressed gases
