The Regional Centre for Biotechnology (RCB), a newly created institution in the National Capital Region (NCR) of Delhi, is looking for innovative faculty members working in the areas of plant biology such as
plant-microbe interactions,
genetic improvement of crops,
molecular mechanisms of abiotic stress responses,
epigenomics,
bioenergy,
and other emerging areas linked with agriculture, climate science and environment, to develop novel research and teaching programmes in biotech science at the interface of multiple disciplines. The RCB recognizes that expertise and innovation in these core domains is critical for the development of fresh perspectives in plant biology and agricultural sciences, and invites individuals with interdisciplinary profiles of the highest caliber and credibility to participate in this shared adventure to transform the biotech sciences.

“Comparative evaluation of protein and activity of alpha amylase enzyme by free cells and Immobilized cells of B.subtilis”.
Project Description :
- Collection of strains of B.subtilis.
- Detection of alpha amylase production in the fermentation medium.
- Isolation & determination of enzyme activity by spectrometry.
- Immobilization of B.subtilis cells & production of enzyme in fermentation medium.
- Determination of enzyme activity by immobilized cells & comparison with that free cell.
PROJECT 3 :P.G.Diploma Project
“Analysis of Structure and Function of Hex-B protein”.
Organization : Bioinformatics Research Center.
The Homology Modeling done and checked the various parameters of the Hex B protein sequence.
