EMPLOYMENT NOTICE FOR 25 POSTS OF LIFT OPERATORS
(ON CONTRACT BASIS AT DC RATES)

Applications are invited for 25posts of Lift operators on contract basis at D.C rates approved by the Deputy Commissioner, Chandigarh from time to time. The Candidate should not be less than 18 years and not more than 25 years of age as on 07.04.2012.

The candidates must possess the following qualifications:
1. Matriculation from a recognized board/University or equivalent.
2. I.T.I Trade Certificate in Electrician from any Govt. Institute or its equivalent.
3. 2 years’ experience in the operation and maintenance of lifts

The applications complete in all respect should be addressed to the

Qatar Gas Transport Company (NAKILAT) has joined forces with Keppel Offshore Marine Ltd to develop a world-class shipyard in the port city of RasLaffan, Qatar. The shipyard is a part of massive expansion of the port of RasLaffan in the Arabian Gulf. The whole project is funded by Qatar Petroleum, Nakilat and Keppel Offshore Marine Ltd.
Responsibilities
- Reporting directly to the Operations Manager.
- Safely and accurately calculated, built and assembled customer orders to prepare them for delivery, inner-yard transfer or customer pick-up.
- Served as team leader for staff engaged in providing solid compaction and stabilization services.
- Ensured completion of required preventative and remedial maintenance in a timely and efficient manner.
- Safely and accurately loaded material for delivery onto trucks with the guidance of the truck driver responsible for making the delivery.
