Online Admissions to P.G./ Research Programmes 2012-13

1)Application Fee payment should be made through CORE BANKING only.
2) Hardcopy of the Application form along with the required fee must be sent without fail so as to reach the University on or before the last date prescribed.
3) Application number generated is unique and the same will be verified for issue of Hall Tickets. Hence applicants are advised not to use PHOTO COPY of Application form of others.

(ii) Ensure that browser on your machine is Internet Explorer 7.0 or Higher / Firefox 8.0 or higher / Chrome 17 or Higher with Javascript support enabled
(iii) Ensure that your system is free from virus
(iv) Disable any pop-up blocker(if it is enabled in your browser)

How to Apply
Download the Challan (Click here for details) of the bank of your choice and pay the prescribed fees before electronically submitting the application form.

P.G. Diploma/P.G./Ph.D. Rs 100/- Rs 50/- Nil

Enter the correct data in the relevant columns as required

While filling the Application form, specify the details of the challan number, payment details and enclose the Bank Challan (University Copy) in proof of payment made.

Verify once the info entered before pressing the SUBMIT .

After submitting the application electronically, Application Number will be generated. Please note down this Application Number.

Quote this Application Number in all future correspondence.

Ensure that the Computer is connected to a printer to take a print out of the Application form. Ph.D candidates are advised to take the print out of the 2 pages of the application, back to back on a single sheet.

Take a print out in A4 size sheet of this Application form shown on the screen.
[Page Setup must be set to LETTER, orientation to PORTRAIT and set the margin to O.5 inch for each side and View--> Text size --> Medium]

Sign the Printed application form, affix photograph in the space earmarked and send it along with Challan in Proof of Payment of application fee to the following address: (Superscribe the name of the Course applied for on the envelope)..

Your application will be considered and Hall Ticket will be sent only on receipt of the hard copy of the application form along with the challan for prescribed fees

Candidates are advised to retain a photocopy of the application and the documents sent to the University (including Bank Challan - Student copy ) and proof of despatch of the same with them, for verification, if necessary, at a later stage.

Candidates can appear for examinations only after receipt of the Hall Ticket from the University.

Incomplete / false information will entail rejection of Application.

Mode of Payment
Application fee has to be credited into Pondicherry University Account as specified in any of the following Nationalised banks across India under Core Banking System (CBS).
Bank charges, if any, should be borne by the applicant.
1. Any of the branches of Indian Bank with instruction to credit it to Account No. 6018625294 along with challan No.
2. Any of the branches of State Bank of India with instruction to credit it to Account Number: 32225505012 along with challan No.

1. For downloading the Challan form, select the Appropriate Bank and Submit the "Generate" Button
2. Take a printout of the Challan on A4 size paper ( Note : Page Setup must be set to LETTER , orientation to LANDSCAPE and Set the margin to O.5 inch for each side and View--> Text Size --> Medium )
3. Fill the details and make the Payment in the prescribed Bank
3. Start filling Online Application form and mention the fees details
4. Enclose the University Copy along with the application form
5. Keep the Student's copy safely for further Communication
