Scheme of Competitive Examination :
The Competitive Examination shall consist of :
(A) Written Examination (Objective type – MCQs) [100 marks]
(B) Practical/Skill Tests [50 marks] &
(C) Viva-Voce Test (Interview) [50 marks]
(A) Written Examination :
(1) The language of Question Paper of Written Examination (Objective type - MCQs) will be Gujarati and English.
(2) The Written Examination(Objective type– MCQs), conducted as above, shall have Negative marking of 0.33 marks for every wrong/multiple answer. This Examination will be of 02 (Two) Hours duration.
Syllabus :-
a) English Language
b) Gujarati Language
c) General Knowledge
d) Arithmetic
e) Current Affairs
f) Indian History and Geography
g) Basics of Computer Applications
h) Sports
i) Analytical Reasoning
j) Mental Ability etc.
(3) Only those candidates who secure minimum 50 marks in the Written Examination (Objective type - MCQs) shall be called for Practical Test/Skill Test. A candidate belonging to any of the Reserved Category [such as SC, ST, SEBC & Disabled Persons(Differently Abled Persons)], shall have to secure minimum of 45 marks.
(4) The Written Examination (Objective type - MCQs) will be conducted either at Ahmedabad or at any District place/places as may be decided by the High Court depending upon the number of candidates, for which the candidates will have to make their own arrangements.
(B) Practical / Skill Tests :
(1) For the posts of Stenographers, the candidates who qualify in the Written Examination (Objective type - MCQs) will have to appear in the Speed Test of 50 marks in Stenography and Transcription thereof on Computer(English or Gujarati as the case may be), at Ahmedabad.
(2) For the post of Assistant (Junior Clerk), the candidates who qualify in the Written Examination (Objective type - MCQs) will have to appear in the Typing Test of 50 marks on Computer (English or Gujarati as the case may be), at Ahmedabad.
(3) A candidate shall have to secure minimum 40% marks in the Practical/Skill Test, in order to qualify for Viva-Voce Test (Interview).
(4) After the Practical/Skill Tests, is/are conducted, marks scored in the Written Examination (Objective type - MCQs) and Practical/Skill Tests on Computer, would be combined together to call successful candidates for the Viva-voce Test (Oral Interview).
( C ) Viva-Voce Test(Interview) :
(1) Viva-voce Test (Interview) shall be conducted at Ahmedabad, at venue(s), as may be decided by the High Court.
(2) The object of the Viva-voce Test (Interview) is to assess the candidate's mental alertness, General knowledge, current affairs, clear and logical exposition, skills, ethics, power of assimilation, power of communication, character and analytical ability.
(3) A candidate must secure 40% Marks in the Viva-voce Test (Interview) for being eligible for inclusion in the Select-List for appointment as Stenographer/Assistant (Junior Clerk), as the case may be.

clerk books available in market? & which places are collect this books ?

I don't have my application number in court clerk exam. I have only the number of Typing test. Now, how can I receive my call letter?
