Applications are invited from the citizens of India for filling up the following temporary position for the sponsored project undertaken in the Department of Earth Sciences of this Institute. The position is temporary initially for a period of 1 Year and tenable only for the duration of the project. The requisite qualification & experience etc. are given below:

11DST031 : "Satellite Project-1 (Title: Tectonothermal evolution of the Balaram-Abu Road granulite terrane of the South Delhi Fold Belt, Rajasthan)" (Department of Science & Technology)

Position & Salary : Junior Research Fellow (1 Post )

Consolidated salary : Rs.12000/- p.m. + HRA

Qualification : M. Sc in Applied Geology with good background in Structural Geology, Geochronology and Metamorphic Geology.GATE score is preferred. The candidate may be required to do Ph. D.

Job Profile : Mapping of folded and metamorphic terranes of Delhi-Aravalli Mobile Belt near Abu Road, Sirohi, Bar, Ajmer. Study of shear zones. Monazite dating using EPMA.
