The written examination will be OMR based and of two hours duration, consisting of 150 objective type multiple choice questions.

a) For STA ‘B’ & Technician ‘A’ : The written test will consist of
(i) 50 questions on General Awareness, General Intelligence, Reasoning Ability, General Science and
(ii) 100 Questions on Subject concerned.

b) For Assistant Hindi : The written test will consist of
(i) 50 Questions on General Awareness, General Intelligence, Reasoning & Numerical Ability and
(ii) 50 Questions each on Hindi and English Language.

c) For Admin Assistant ‘A’ & Store Assistant ‘A’ : The written examination will consist of
(i) 50 questions on General Awareness, General Intelligence & Reasoning & Numerical Ability
(ii) 50 questions on General English and
(iii) 50 Questions on Hindi OR English language.

d) For Civilian Driver ‘A’, Security Assistant ‘A’, Fire Engine Driver and Fireman : The written test will consist of
(i) 100 Questions on General Awareness, General Reasoning, Arithmetic , Numerical Ability
(ii) 25 Job related questions and
(iii) 25 Questions on Hindi or English language.

SYLLABUS & MEDIUM OF EXAMINATION : The syllabus of the examination will be based on the standards of essential qualification required for the post. The medium for Written Examination will be Hindi or English.

DATE AND SHIFT OF EXAMINATION : The date of examination will be decided later and will be available on our website. Admit Cards to the candidates will be dispatched by post and same will also be available on our website. The examination of all post codes shall be completed in two shifts. However, the exact date, time, and examination centre will be intimated by post. The same will also be available on our website. The written examination of STA ‘B’ & Technician ‘A’ shall be conducted in different shifts on the same day all over the country. The examination for Admin Assistants ‘A’ and Store Assistants ‘A’ shall also be in separate shifts but it shall be time-clubbed either with shift for STA ‘B’ or Technician ‘A’. Therefore, candidates applying for more than one post should send their application, complete in all respect, in separate envelope.

MODE OF SELECTION :
a) The candidates will be called for written examination without scrutiny. However, the Original Certificates pertaining to Essential Qualification(EQR) and other relevant documents will be examined/verified completely at the time of Document Verification/Interview.
b) Candidates will be shortlisted on valid criteria as prescribed and adopted by CEPTAM. The final selection will be based on pooled merit of post/category/sub-category of the candidate and on the basis of marks obtained in Written Examination and Interview taken together. It is reiterated that it is mandatory for shortlisted candidates to pass the prescribed skill/trade/physical/medical tests, as per the norms, wherever applicable.
c) The mode of selection may change depending upon the contingencies.

TITLE : Intelligent Traffic Guidance System

DESCRIPTION :
The project aimed to control the flow of traffic on road intelligently and guide them so as to save time. It is an integration of two modules, an intelligent traffic light controller which shall control the traffic lights depending upon the real time traffic and a GSM based roll on display with direction indicators for updating the traffic with information about traffic jams, bomb blast, chaos situations, advertising etc. CPLD XC9572 was used as a platform to build intelligent traffic light controller using VHDL Programming in Xilinx ISE and Modelsim. ARM7, UART, GSM module, AT Commands were used to build Display module in µKEIL with Embedded C programming.
B.E Project-
TITLE : RFID based Security System with Image Capturing Feature

DURATION IN MONTHS : 7
PLATFORM USED : ARM 7 LPC 2388
DESCRIPTION :
The project was sponsored by TRICE SOLUTIONS and the aim of the project was to a design a security system for a secure work environment, for which we used RFID module integrated with an image capturing feature. Employees are provided with an RFID tag and a lock code, as soon as this tag gets within the range of reader, it is read and simultaneously an image is captured and stored in a MS Excel database as a record, then the lock code is punched to gain the access.
T.E Project :-
TITLE : Automatic Line Follower Robot
DURATION IN MONTHS : 2
PLATFORM USED : AT89S2051
DESCRIPTION :
Project intended towards the design of a carrier Robot with path tracing capabilities, we used the platform of 89S2051 and controlled two servo motors to drive the carrier Robot according to IR sensor array which detected dark region, The application was in moving the objects in a supermarket. For driving servo motors, L293D driver IC was used and was interfaced with microcontroller, OP505A phototransistor was used for sensor arrays
TITLE : Traffic Detection on CAN bus
DURATION IN MONTHS : 4
PLATFORM USED : ARM 7 LPC 2129
DESCRIPTION :
The project was sponsored by I2IT, Hinjewadi. Basic aim was to develop a battery powered handheld device to be used for analysis of data on to the CAN bus, our module dealt with the traffic detection on to the CAN bus and to provide the signals with a timestamp through RTC and display various information on the PC using a Visual Basic platform.
