Professor (All Departments) :
Minimum of 10 Years of Experience in the relevant field
Eligiblity/ Academic Qualifications :
PhD, ME/M.Tech and BE/B.Tech in the branch of Engineering for which the candidate is applying to be a part off.
**PhD’s from UGC recognized universities
**A minimum of First Class or equivalent at Bachelor’s and Master’s level from a recognized university is mandatory.
**If a class/division is not awarded at B.E/B. Tech/M.E/M. Tech/ Equivalent Degree, a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate shall be considered equivalent to first class/division. If a Grade Point system is adopted, the CGPA will be converted into equivalent marks and minimum CGPA shall be 6.75 in the scale of 10.
Desirable Qualifications :
**Leadership skills
**Involved in Research and Development Activities and Consultancy to reputed organizations
**Teaching/research/industrial/Professional experience in reputed organizations.

Pay Band for Professor : Rs 37400 - 67000 plus AGP

Project Profile
- Project : BOOST CONVERTER & INVERTER DFIG FOR GET MAXIMUM POWER.
Description :
- The wind power generation has been established on the basis of electric motor technology by using POWER DEVICES
- Aim of the project is to obtain a constant voltage with constant frequency in the chopper circuit. The wind turbine converts the kinetic energy presented in the wind into mechanical energy, which drives the permanent magnet synchronous generator through gear box.
- The PMSG input AC voltage Rectified using Diode Bridge Rectifier and the voltage is boosted up by a Boost chopper. Then this voltage is inverted by a PWM inverter. Then output voltage from the PMSG is used to control the duty ratio of the chopper to obtain constant voltage with constant frequency
