Branch Banking - Branch Service Delivery Leader (BSDL)
Position : Branch Service Delivery Leader (BSDL)
Grade : Manager / Sr. Manager / AVP; In certain branches - where there is a concentration of Corporate Customers / RBI Centre / Cluster Hub branch the grade may also be VP.
Business Unit : Branch Banking
Sub Unit Branch : Service Delivery (BSD)
Reporting to : Branch Business Leader (BBL)
Reportees : Team of Branch Service Partners (BSPs) In small / new branches, team size may be 2 or 3 BSPs In large / older branches, team size may be upto 15 BSPs
Expected Candidate Profile
1. Age : a. Minimum 29 to Maximum 34 years
2. Education :
a. Graduate, Post Graduate, MBA, CA, Engineer from a recognized university/premium business schools.
b. AMFI/NCFM/IRDA/JAIIB/CAIIB & such relevant certifications will be an added advantage.
c. Certification on quality programs i.e., Six Sigma, ISO, 5S, Kaizen, etc. will be an added advantage.
3. Past Experience :
a. Min 7 to Max 12 years of work experience in Financial Services Organisations of which minimum 3 years has to be in Banking Operations or Service Roles.
b. In Corporate Heavy Branches, Min 3 years of experience in handling operations or sales of Corporate Segment Products & Processes like Trade CMS, etc.
c. Minimum 2 years should be in leadership role handling team of at least 5 staff.
d. Some experience / exposure to credit based products/processes will be an added advantage.
e. Persons who have grown the ranks by actually working in various process / product functions will be preferred.
4. Past Organisation :
a. Must necessarily come from Banking & Financial Services Organisations of Repute.
5. Other Aspects / Skills :-
a. Should be very proficient with use of Banking Software Systems
b. Should score at least 6 on 10 in proficiency with MS Excel.
c. Should score at least 6 on 10 in terms if communication skills (Apart from command over the language, candidate must demonstrate clarity of thought & confidence in communication)
d. Should be well aware of Current Affairs & Happenings in the financial domain.
e. Overall Personality Must be Good & befitting the stature of the role.
f. Must be a person who has strong sense of personal accountability, takes initiative & has tremendous positive energy/enthusiasm.
g. Must be very strong on inter-personal skills and a very tactful negotiator.
h. Must be strong in decision making and ability to address complex & often conflicting situations
i. Ability to balance various priorities & accomplish multiple tasks in parallel.
j. Strong ability to delegate & manage teams thru monitoring / tracking.
