(A) DIRECTOR OF CINCHONA & OTHER MEDICINAL PLANTS, WEST BENGAL – ONE

QUALIFICATIONS :
Essential :
(i) A doctorate Degree or a First Class Master’s Degree in Botany or Chemistry.
(ii) Five years’ experience in Research work in Botany or Chemistry corroborated by publication of paper or papers on the subjects.
(iii) Five years’ experience either in the cultivation of medicinal plants or in the manufacture of medicinal products from Cinchona or other medicinal plants.
(iv) Administrative Experience.

(A) GEOLOGIST – FIVE ( TWO RESERVED FOR S.C. & ONE FOR O.B.C. CATEGORY ‘B’ CANDIDATES)
QUALIFICATIONS :
Essential :
(i) A Second Class Master’s Degree in Geology or Applied Geology or a Diploma in Applied Geology from the Indian School of Mines & Applied Geology, Dhanbad or equivalent.
(ii) Two years’ Field & Laboratory experience in Geohydrological Survey, Investigation & exploration.

(B) CHEMIST – SIX (ONE EACH RESERVED FOR S.C. , S.T. & O.B.C. CATEGORY ‘A’ CANDIDATES)
QUALIFICATIONS :
Essential :
(i) A Second Class Master’s Degree in Chemistry or equivalent
(ii) Two years’ experience in Water Analysis

FEE : Candidates must enclose with the application a fee of Rs.210/- (Rupees two hundred and ten) only by Indian Postal Order which MUST BE PURCHASED ON A DATE AFTER PUBLICATION OF THIS ADVERTISEMENT AND BEFORE THE CLOSING DATE OF SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION and crossed and endorsed to the Secretary, Public Service Commission, West Bengal, or by a receipted Challan from a Govt. Treasury in West Bengal or the Reserve Bank of India, Kolkata under the head “0051-00-105-State PSC Examination fees-001-Examination fees-16 other fees”. The Postal Orders should be made payable at G.P.O., Kolkata. Money Order, Cheque, Bank Draft, Cash etc. will not be accepted. No application will be considered unless accompanied with the requisite application fees. Candidates belonging to S.C./S.T. of West Bengal and Persons with Disabilities specified under Persons with Disabilities Rules, 1999 are not required to pay any fee. The application of such candidates will not be accepted if the same is not accompanied with the attested copy of S.C./S.T./Persons with Disabilities certificate. - Now I have been working in the position of Sr. Chemist in R&D center of Asiatic Composite Ltd., last 6 month to till date.
- Now work on new product development and set for Resin formulation, ratio and condition for GFRP, Also I have set the analytical methods of materials..
- Preparation the (FRP) Glass Fiber Reinforcement Plastic Composite using Glass fiber and Resin using Unsaturated Polyester ( ISO Resin, Vinyl ester Resin, Gel coat), Epoxy Resin, Phenolic Resin.
- Instrument using LV and RV Viscometer, Tintometer (Spectrophotometer), Melting point Apparatus, Oil bath, water bath, etc.
- Quality Control : find the Properties of Raw materials, Process product materials, Final Product and set it.
(2). Previous working with English Indian Clays ltd., Veli, Trivandrum, Kerala.
- Previously I was working in the position of Research Chemist in R&D center of English Indian Clays Limited at the 1year from June 2010 to August 2011.
- I was working on many projects and that is Synthetic Aluminum Silicates, Precipitated silica, Silica gel, Nanoclays, Surface Modified Clays, Starch coated clays and also that application.
- Applications of clays product in paper coating use K-Controller Coater Machine to coat clays (coating slip solution) on paper and use paper filling for Hand Sheet former Installed machine.
- Working with Instrumentation for Characterizations that is XRD,XRF, Brook field Viscometer, Particle size analyzer, GE Brightness meter, Hercules Hi shear viscometer, Abrasive testing Machine, Gloss meter, Moisture analyzer and etc.
- Bleaching Process (process technique)to study the raw materials of clay to remove the Iron and other impurities by dosage to bleaching process.
- Studied the impact of different dispersant in the kneading of clay and identified various potential dispersant sodium and ammonium base.
- Matrix analyzing of clays to study the different color and composition of clays to find properties and final product composition.
- Chemicals and Mineralogical Analysis :- The Chemical constituent clay Si, Al, Fe, Ti, Na, Ca, Mg, Cl, SO4 etc and other minerals are analysis by Wet Chemicals and Instrumentation technique.
- Experienced in operating Pilot scale equipments like Spray Drier, Delaminator, Nano mill, Auto clave, pulverizer etc
- Paper :- studied the impact of particle size, viscosity of clays on the coating slip viscosity and on the optical properties, gloss, smoothness of the coated paper and board.
- Paint :- Using our clays product to study the replacement of TiO2 and other inorganic product to make different type PVC ( pigment Volume concentration ) of paint Water base paint and find out the Optical properties, Opacity , Solids contents , PVC of paint, Smoothness, Gloss value. Also study the different type of inorganic materials to comparison of our clays product.

- Characterizations of Nanoclay use SEM, FTIR, TGA, XRD and Chemical and Physical methods.
