A key requirement of the Research Associate position is ability to work independently and creatively to provide practical solutions to complex business problems.

Job Description :
1. Monitoring industries across a broad spectrum.
2. Authoring market reports and client presentations.
3. Researching various markets using secondary as well as primary research.
4. Financial modeling, analysis, strategic due diligence and competitive intelligence gathering.
5. Some amount of domestic and international travel is required (typically 20%).

Job Requirements :
1. One to Two (Minimum one year) years experience in writing industry reports, doing market research, or consulting in any industry at KPOs, consulting firms or investment banks.
2. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
3. Good report authoring, presentation making and spreadsheet skills.
4. Strong analytical skills and critical reasoning abilities are essential.
5. Knowledge of financial statements including profit and loss accounts, balance sheets and cash flow statements is essential.
6. Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently.

Hiring Process :

3. In-person interview in our office (usually with 2 senior partners). The interview consists of one or two case study discussions based on real projects and focus is to evaluate the candidate’s analytical thinking and ability to structure a problem.
4. Internal discussion regarding candidate fit.
5. Accept/reject decision communicated to candidate.

The whole process takes about one month depending on schedules.
