Job Description
** Independently work on storyboard, concept design, product design and development, coordinate and work closely with manufacturers to develop the product and identify product line marketing strategy.
** Working with craftsmen and suppliers to ensure all areas of product development are covered.
** Design & Develop innovative and commercial range of premium fashion accessories
** Maintain and Increase the level of In-house designed products that are in sync with the brand
** Forecasting Trends, Developing Inspiration Boards, design direction, concepts and marketing strategy for each season to generate continuous excitement on the brand
** Responsible for all aspects of design development working to a critical path, achieving specific deadlines
** Frequent visit in local market to check for new designs, parts, components and identifying new trends in the market
** Identifying premium range of fashion accessories that is unique and based on customer needs and also defines the brand
** Working to high standards, taking all actions necessary to ensure excellence and quality is achieved and to do so in complicated circumstances
** Anticipating future needs and opportunities , thinking imaginatively to generate solutions that grow the brand and business through increased customer base
** Be available for Brand Events where necessary and also provide relevant articles for the promotions

Desired Candidate Profile :
** Must have excellent color, leather and textile flare
** Minimum 3 years of experience in the industry
** Passionate and excited by fashion accessories
** Ability to work to tight deadline and brief
** Organised and self-motivated
** Advanced computer design knowledge
** Should have designed products for leading premium fashion accessory brands
** Preferably a Post graduate from NIFT/ a reputed fashion design institute
** Excellent communication skills as we are looking to co-brand the product line with designer and the designer also needs to interact with relevant media for promotional purpose
** Existing network with manufacturers, craftsmen will be an added advantage

We are wanting to partner with leading/upcoming fashion accessory designer to launch a premium line of fashion accessories branded as SHiE and will be sold through online platform http://she-i.com (and related social media channels) initially which is rapidly expanding and targeting to have a member base of 50000+ users by August 2012.
