Mazagon Dock Limited invites applications from eligible SC,ST & OBC(NCL) and Persons With Disabilities (PWD – HH & OH category) candidates for appointment against permanent vacancies in the following Skilled Grade- I trades.

Essential Qualifications : Passed SSC or Equivalent Examination conducted by a Board recognized by the Government.

Age Limit : Maximum age limit is 33 years and minimum age limit not less than 18 years as on 1st February 2012.

How to Apply :
a. Application format given at the end of this advertisement may be downloaded from our website mazagondock.gov.in under the head “Career”. The application should be filled legibly in Hindi, Marathi or English in block letters on A4 size paper strictly in the prescribed format.
b. A self attested recent passport size colour photograph should be pasted in the space provided in the application form.
c. Candidates should attach attested copies by Gazetted Officer / School Head Master/ Post Master of certificates in support of their age, qualification, experience and caste along with the application.
d. Candidates belong to OBC(NCL) category should attach demand draft (non-refundable) of Rs 100/- in favour of Mazagon Dock Ltd payable at Mumbai along with their application form as processing fee. However, SC,ST,PWD (HH/OH) candidates are exempted.
e. SC, ST & OBC (NCL) candidates are required to produce a caste certificate only in the prescribed form and issued by the following authorities.
i) District Magistrate/ Additional Dist. Magistrate/Collector/Deputy Commissioner/ Additional Deputy Commissioner/Deputy Collector/ 1st Class Stipendary Magistrate/Sub Divisional Magistrate/ Taluka Magistrate/ Executive Magistrate/ Extra Assistant Commissioner (not below the rank of 1st Class Stipendiary Magistrate.
ii) Chief Presidency Magistrate/Addl. Chief Presidency Magistrate/Presidency Magistrate.
iii) Revenue Officer not below the rank of Tehsildar and
iv) Sub Divisional Officer of the area where the candidate and/or his family normally resides.
f. Candidates claiming reservation under persons with disability (40% or more) in the category HH / OH as the case may be are required to produce medical certificate in the prescribed format issued by the competent authority as stipulated in Persons with Disabilities (Equal Opportunities, Protection of Rights and Full Participation) Act, 1995.
g. Candidates serving in Government/Quasi Government offices, Public Sector Undertakings have to submit their application through proper channel. In case, he sends an advance copy of the application, he will have to submit a “No Objection Certificate” from his employer at the time of the interview failing which his candidature will not be considered.
