Asst.Officer -Supply Chain Management - Responsibilities :
Stores/Warehouse/Inventory Management :
1. Material Receipt :
- Monitor & ensure accurate and complete documents with respect to delivery invoice/challans.
- To prepare goods receipt note along with supporting documents.
- Follow specific procedure to handled API materials in order to ensure total GMP & Statutory requirements.
2. Materials Dispensing :
- Ensure timely receipt of requisition slips/BMR/BPR from production.
- Prioritize the dispensing as per the production input.
- Co-ordinate for timely line clearance from QA.
- Ensure timely & correct dispensing of material as per SOPs & update in SAP in order to alignment with production schedule.
3. Perpetual Inventory :
- Physical stock review against book/system stocks.
- Identify and analyze discrepancies if any.
- To arrange approval from management for any adjustments in stocks.
- To take corrective actions to prevent the discrepancies.
- To monitor Inventory Turnover Ratio.
4. Warehouse Maintenance
- Allocate work & train team members.
- Monitor calibration of balances/equipments and ensure daily performance checks.
- Cleanliness of area/facility in accordance with cGMP guidelines.
- Co-ordinate with maintenance department with daily repair/maintenance activities.
- To handle the audits and resolve the queries.
- Identify opportunities for continual improvement in order to maintain clean ad safe work environment as per procedures.
5. Materials Management :
- Prepare departmental budget & ensure expensed are in control.
- Review non-moving/dead stocks and clear the unused inventories.
- Follow up with QA for disposal of rejected materials.
- Check and ensure appropriate inventory management in order to manage cost & effective utilization of warehouse space.
- Close monitoring on shelf life of the products and generating of related reports.
- To figure out the safety, minimum, maximum and reordering labels.
6. People Management & Development :
- Provide leadership and vision to the team by holding performance discussions regularly and identify training needs.
- Document performance issues in a fair & timely manner in accordance to company guidelines and procedures.

10. Purchase Management :
- Planning, indenting and scheduling of materials as per the production plan.
- Identify potential vendors based on approved purchase requisition and approved vendor list.
- Data comparison and analysis of vendors with respect to rate, quality, lead time, capacity & transport.
- To analyze the vendors for fulfillment of delivery commitments.
- Creation of purchase orders and contract agreements with vendor.
