Indian Air Force offers opportunities for unmarried male Indian citizens from the designated Districts of State of Madhya Pradesh to become an airman. The Recruitment Test for Group ‘X’ (Technical) trades and Group ‘Y’ (Non-Technical) {For Auto Technician and Indian Air Force (Police)} trades will be held at Police Ground, Hoshangabad (Madhya Pradesh) from 04 April 2012 to 09 April 2012 as per the Selection Programme given below.

SELECTION PROGRAMME : The Recruitment Test will be conducted from 7 AM onwards every day as per the details given below. Candidates reporting up to 10 AM at the Rally Venue will only be permitted to appear in the Recruitment Test.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION :
(a) For Group ‘X’ (Technical) Trades. Candidate should have passed Intermediate or 10+2 or equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics and English with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. OR
Three year Diploma course in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical or Electronics or Automobile or Computer Science or Instrumentation Technology or Information Technology) with at least 50% marks in overall aggregate from a Government recognized Polytechnic Institute.
(b) For Group ‘Y’ (Non-Technical) {For Auto Tech and IAF (P)} Trades Candidate should have passed Intermediate or 10+2 or equivalent examination with Science, Arts or Commerce subjects or equivalent vocational courses with minimum 50% marks in aggregate. Vocational course should be recognized by Association of Indian Universities. OR
Three year Diploma in any stream of Engineering from a Government recognised Polytechnic Institute.

Note : - Exact aggregate percentage of marks up to first place of decimal for all subjects as mentioned in the Marks Sheet of Intermediate or 10+2 or equivalent will only be considered (For example, 49.9% should NOT be rounded off to 50%).

PUBLISHING OF AISL : The All India Select List (AISL) will be displayed at No. 15 Airmen Selection Centre, Second Floor, Phase – II, Rajiv Gandhi Parisar, 35 Shyamala Hills, Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh) on 31 July 2012. A copy of the Display List will be sent to District Magistrate of Hoshangabad (Madhya Pradesh) (through Airmen Selection Centre) and also available at Indian Air Force website. The inclusion of names of the candidates in the AISL depends upon the performance of the candidates in the Selection Test.

Weight: Proportionate to height and age.
