3+ years of work experience on the Microsoft Desktop/ Server platform
Min 1+ year of troubleshooting experience on Windows Server 2003/2008
Troubleshooting experience on AD, DNS, DHCP, Exchange, File/Print Server, and SQL
Experience creating and applying group policies and domain scripts
Basic Knowledge on Windows/Batch scripting
Troubleshooting skills on site connectivity, VPN, and remote access
Experience on patching using WSUS
Experience with Backup Software like Symantec Backup Exec
Experience with server Anti-Virus and Anti-Spyware tools
Basic experience on web filtering and content management software like Websense
Basic experience in configuration of routers/firewalls/managed switches
Exposure to network monitoring tools and software
Exposure to helpdesk or ticketing software tools
Understanding on disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity planning (BCP)
Should be preferably certified as MCP/MCSE/MCITP
Ability and open to working on a 24x7 shift
