    Qualifications and Experience/ Age Limit
    Scientist - Ph.D (Engg. / Science) (thesis Submitted) in the area as specified in the table given below. No experience required OR
    ME/M.Tech in the area as specified in the table given below. OR
    B.Tech/ M.Sc. in the area as specified in the table given below (first class or 60% on an aggregate or an equivalent GPA) with Post Graduate Degree in Intellectual Property Law.
    Maximum age : 32 years as on 10.04.2012

    Senior Scientist - Ph.D (Engg. ) in the area specified in the table given below. No experience required OR
    Ph.D. (Sc.) in the area as specified in the table given below 2yrs. Experience. OR
    ME/M.Tech in the area as specified in the table given below with 3yrs. Experience. OR
    B.Tech/ M.Sc. in the area as specified in the table given below (first class or 60% on an aggregate or an equivalent GPA) with Post Graduate Degree in Intellectual Property Law with 3yrs. experience.
    Age Limit : The maximum age limit for the post of Sr. Scientist is 37 yrs.

    How to Apply :
    To apply, the applicants must fill in the online application form available at NISCAIR website niscair.res.in Applications received electronically followed by hard copy attached with all relevant documents thereof, will be entertained. However, in case of nonavailability of online submission, application received in hardcopy only will also be accepted. Print out of duly filled online application form completed in all aspects and supported by attested copies of certificates in proof of educational qualifications, DOB, caste, experience, passport size photograph, etc. along with an application fee (Except SC, ST, PWD, female and regular employees of CSIR) of Rs.100/- (Rupees One hundred only) in the form of crossed Demand Draft/IPO valid for at least 6 months in favour of "The Director, NISCAIR, payable at New Delhi should be sent in sealed cover superscribed with “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF SCIENTIST (Post code and category)” to
