Finite Element Analysis for Design - Theory and Applications
Finite element analysis has become the primary tool of choice for the design and analysis of structural components and systems. This training course is structured to give the student a foundation in the basics of finite element analysis and the emphasis is on its practical application in validation and as a driver of design change process in product development. The course builds on real world example problems and imparts finite element model building, deck preparation, solving and interpreting the results using Altair HyperMesh and Radioss/OptiStruct solvers. The practical nature of this course makes it a powerful complement to engineering education and experience.
