Job Description
- Preparation of layout drawings.
- Vetting of drawings / data / information from collaborators.
- Preparation of bills of material, purchase specifications.
- Design and engineering work for the project assigned.
- Issue of drawings to Manufacturing and also to Projects for approval by the customer/ consultant.
- Development of Engineering Standards.
- Selection of equivalent Indian materials.
- Co-ordinating with Manufacturing for any changes in drawing specifications.
KEY RESULT AREAS
- Timely preparation of the layout drawings and vetting of drawing / data and specifications from collaborators.
- Timely completion of design and engineering activity of the project .
- Accuracy of design / drawings.

Desired Candidate Profile
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 2 years of experience. He should have good working exposure on design softwares such as Autocad, Solid edge etc. Persons having experience in hydro/pumps/valves industry shall be preferred.
