Applications are invited upto 5.30 p.m. on 21.03.2012 for Direct Recruitment to the vacancies for the year 2012 in the following posts:-

AGE (as on 01.07.2012) : Candidates should not have completed 57 years of age as on 01.07.2012 both for Engineering and Non-Engineering Subjects.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION :
(i) Lecturer in Engineering Subjects : Candidates should possess the following qualifications on the date of Notification viz., 27.02.2012 A First Class Bachelor’s Degree in the Branch of Engineering relating to the Post Concerned.
(ii) Lecturer in Non-Engineering Subjects (English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry) : A First Class Master’s Degree in the appropriate Branch of Study

APPLICATION FORM AND EXAMINATION FEE :
The Application Form (OMR Format) along with Prospectus can be obtained (from 09.03.2012 to 21.03.2012) in person from the Office of Directorate of Technical Education [DOTE] Chennai – 600 025 / Principals of Government & Government-Aided Engineering and Polytechnic Colleges on payment of Rs.50/- ( Rupees Fifty Only) in cash towards the cost of the Application Form and Prospectus.

The candidates are requested to pay the examination fees Rs.600/- (Rs.300/- for SC/ST and Physically Challenged) and the Bank Charges Rs.50/- in any Branch of STATE BANK OF INDIA using only the prescribed challan attached with the prospectus. Payment of examination fees in any other method will not be accepted.

The candidates should submit the filled in application forms in person to the Office of the Directorate of Technical Education [DOTE], Chennai – 600 025 / Principals of Government & Government-Aided Engineering and Polytechnic Colleges, from where they obtained the application on or before 21.03.2012 (Wednesday) at 5.30 P.M. and obtain acknowledgement on the photocopy of the filled and signed application form.

Hi, i would like to know the TRB exam date for the " Direct Recruitment of Lecturers (Engineering / Non-Engineering) for Govt.Polytechnic Colleges "

I've applied for the same,but have not received the Hall ticket yet. As per the initial announcement, the exam is scheduled to be on 22nd April 2012 ( ie. day after tomorrow ).

I tired contacting TRB cell in the number listed in the web site. No one attends the calls.

Please let me know if any of you have an update regarding this.

still we did'nt get any information regarding hall ticket and exam date.....is it postponed or not? nice government nice administration....before this they made corruption after examination now it starts earlier....what is this graduates ? what we have to do its our fate...............

Government offices are always inefficient. Its an irony (nagai-muraN in Tamil) that you want to be a part of it.

However, to my knowledge, the exam date has not yet been announced in the website. Or if it is intimated to individuals, I am unaware of it.

So according to me, we are talking about postponement before announcement of exams.
