Applications are invited from Indian Nationals to fill up the following vacancies in Industrial Establishment (Group C) at Engine Factory, Avadi. Educational Qualifications :
National Council of Trades for Vocational Training (NCTVT) certificate in the relevant trade failing which by ITI or equivalent Diploma/Certificate holder. It is also brought out that Degree and Diploma in Engineering cannot be accepted as qualification to semi-skilled posts. Only when applicants with NCVT certificates as mentioned above are not available, then only applicants with ITI or equivalent Diploma/certificate holders will be considered.

Application fee :
An application fee of Rs.50/- (Rupees Fifty Only) is payable by the candidates.

Last Date : The online registration will be open from 30.01.2012 and will be closed on 20.02.2012. Printed applications will be accepted by the Factory upto 27.02.2012.

Thereafter, the candidate should sign and put the left thumb impression at different places on the printed application as mentioned. It is very important that the photograph pasted on the front page and the left thumb impression and the signature of the candidate should cleanly and clearly fall within the specified boxes on the printed application. JOB PROFILE :-
1. Electrification of unauthorized colonies & HVDS colonies.
a) Site visit including site survey GPS&GIS System
b) Observing the present electrification of the colony, if any and preparing the report.
c) Categorization of the consumers of the colony in three categories i.e. domestic, commercial showing present condition of the assets at sight industrial and estimating the total no. of consumer in the colony
A) Load assessment of the colony in order to know the no. and the capacity of the transformers required
B) Preparing the report and informing the management about the same through MIS
2. LT estimation work of the colony
a) Material estimation of H-pole type substation
b) Material estimation of distribution system of anew colony including evolution of assets like Poles,Conductors,Insulators ,Stay sets,Earthing,Clamps,Angal,Irons etc. for its new electrification work
c) Work estimation of the above mentioned
3. HVDS estimation work of the colony (basic knowledge)
4. Work management
5. HT/LT Lines &sub station execution
6. Coordinate line man, site supervisor& site engineer
7. Feeder segregation work
8. Tube well connection HVDS (basic knowledge)
Job Responsibility :
a, Handling the whole Project Documents Handing Over to our client.
b, Deal With All Managements Problems Related With Engineers & Other Staff..
c, Handling The Large Team Of Labour & Contactors Labour
d, Handling The project At least 36 crore.
e, Checking The quality of the whole Work.
