Sakthi Aviation Consultancy Services
Sakthi Aviation Consultancy Services (SACS) Private Limited established in the year 2005, by a group of Senior Management Executives (Retired) from aviation field, each with more than 30 years in Airport Operations, Air Traffic Services (ATS), Airport Design & Development, Airport Security, Air Safety Management System, Human Resource Development etc., endeavors to meet the growing demand of aviation sector with the momentum gained by privatization of airports and development of Green field airports, Regional airport development, and Modernization of Brown airports .
The Indian civil aviation industry is growing at average rate of 18% annually. In the wake of major policy changes undertaken by the government like the liberalization of air travel services through the open skies agreement a sharp increase in air traffic is expected. With a total of 449 airports out of which 92 airports and 28 civil enclaves, 12 international airports but only 61 of them permitted to be utilized by the airlines, there is a huge concern whether India will be able to handle this increased air traffic. Hence there is a huge responsibility to upgrade existing infrastructure and develop more airports in other cities. But due to the lack of resources of the government there is an increased emphasis on private investment
