Candidates who will be appointed as Engineer Trainee will be on training for a period of one year with effect from the date of joining and after successful completion of one year training period and presentation they will be appointed as Engineer on Regular basis. They will be entitled to other allowances, facilities as applicable to regular employees of the company after regularisation. Also required to submit Rs.25000/- in cash towards bond money for serving the company for 03 years (01 year as ET and 02 years as Engineer).

Main Project Title : Micro controller based closed loop control of Induction Motor
Using Variable Frequency method.
Technology Used : Variable Frequency (V/F) Technology.
Abstract : The purpose of the project is to implement a simple and cost effective process to control the speed of AC induction motors using V/F technique. The speed of the induction motor is directly proportional to the supply frequency and the number of poles of the motor. Since the number of poles is fixed by design, vary the supply frequency. In this system embedded controller is used to produce the triggering pulses needed by the inverter. Inverter further controls the motor speed while making V/F ratio constant. Here in this project we are going to interface keypad to the micro controller and different keys are assigned to different speeds. When we press particular key then motor will rotate at that speed and that speed will be displayed on LCD.

Project Title : Speed Control of Induction Motor by VVVF Drive.
Industry : Visakhapatnam Steel Plant.
Technology Used : VARIABLE VOLTAGE VARIABLE FREQUENCY (VVVF) Technology.

Abstract : AC motors are robust in construction and cheep in cost. Due to the Technology development of the power electronics devices like Thyristors and IGBTs by using Frequency control method, The Induction motor speed can be controlled by using power semi Conductor Controller. Stator Voltage Control, Stator Frequency Control, Cyclo Converter Control, VVVF Technology. Present day industries are increasingly shifting towards automation. Industrial automation is programmable controller and robots. Variable drive systems which are smaller in size but very efficient, highly reliable. The advantage is simple construction and easy control.

Project title : D.C Generator using wooden rotor.
Objective : Producing E.M.F from wooden rotor instead of iron rotor.
