    1. A cylindrical block of base 50 mm diameter and height 90 mm standing on H.P. with its axis perpendicular to the H.P. Draw its isometric view. 5
    2. Answer al questions : 2×5=10
    (a) What is difference between the isome- tric view and isometric projections ?
    (b) Isometric length
    True length = ?
    (c) Draw the isometric view of an equilateral triangle when its surface is parallel to V.P. (take 50 mm as one of sides of the equilateral triangle).
    (d) A semicircle of diameter 60 mm and whose surface is parallel to V.P., then develop the Isometric view.
    (e) What is isometric graph ? How is it different from the normal graph ?
    3. Draw the isometric view of a Cone of base 40 mm diameter and axis 55 mm long when its axis is horizontal. 5
    4. Show by means of sketches the conventional methods of showing the following screw threads : 21 2 ×4=10
    (c) Left-hand square thread, dia 20 mm, pitch 3 mm
    (d) Double start square thread, dia 40 mm, pitch 3 mm.
    5. Draw three views of a hexagonal headed bolt 24 mm dia and 100 mm long with hexagonal nut and washer (assume other data if needed). 10
    6. Draw the isometric view of a Square headed bolt 24 mm diameter 70 mm long with square neck 18 mm thick and head 40 mm square and 18 mm thick. 5
    7. Draw the sectional view and the top view of two 20 mm thick plates fastened together by means of 20 mm diameter stud, a hexagonal nut and washer. Insert important dimensions.
    8. Draw sectional view, the top view and side view of a single revetted lap joint for 12 mm thick plates. Show the pitch, margin and width of overlap. 10
    9. Draw with free hand sketches: 21
    (a) Eye foundation bolt
    (b) Rag bolt.
