VOCPT is looking for suitable and dedicated MARINE ENGINEERS & PILOTS to join the team of officers.

SENIOR MARINE ENGINEERS - VACANCY – 1 No.
Qualification & Experience : Must hold a MOT First Class Motor Certificate issued under Merchant Shipping Act, 1958. Four years experience as Chief Engineer or five years combined experience as Chief Engineer and Second Engineer on board a foreign going ship.
AGE LIMIT FOR THE ABOVE POST IS 44 YEARS (As on the last date of receipt of application)
Remuneration : Scale of Pay of Rs. 32900 – 58000 and Cafteria Allowance upto 47% of Basic Pay in addition to DA, etc.

MARINE ENGINEERS - VACANCY – 2 Nos.
Qualification & Experience : Must hold a MOT First Class Motor Certificate issued under Merchant Shipping Act, 1958. One year post qualification experience as Chief Engineer /Second Engineer on board a foreign going ship.

Remuneration : Scale of Pay of Rs. 29100 – 54500 and Cafteria Allowance upto 47% of Basic Pay in addition to DA, etc.

PILOTS - VACANCY – 2 Nos.
Qualification & Experience : Must hold a certificate of competency as master of foreign going ship issued by the Ministry of Shipping, Government of India or an equivalent qualification recognised by the Ministry of Shipping, Government of India. One year post qualification experience as Master / Chief Officer of a foreign going ship.
AGE LIMIT FOR THE ABOVE POST IS 40 YEARS (As on the last date of receipt of application)
Remuneration : Scale of Pay of Rs. 29100 – 54500 and Cafteria Allowance upto 47% of Basic Pay in addition to DA, etc.

- Apply the Permit for Equipment and tools using on works, such as Hot Work Permit, Chemical Cleaning Permit Etc…,
Carrie out as team leader& Supervisor
- Hand over fit up, Visual Inspection Visual Reports for Super Duplex & Duplex Pipes.
- Dimension check according to ISO Drawing Transoceanic I & II
- Prepare man power plan, make sure all vacant position are filled.
- Plan Production Capacities According To Project.
- Coaches and trains productions staff prepare on job program.
- Prepare worker safety procedures and makes sure that these procedures are enforced.
- Establish and maintain overall emergency procedures in coordination with the safety department and ensure its implementation to keep accident to the minimum and reduce downtime.
